  1. I used to have a white demo that played absolutely fine, no distortion at all. Tho with it being a styrene press it might deteriorate pretty quick if not treated well.
  2. VOR records is part of german based Moskito mailorder, all releases are fully licensed from Goldmine UK. They started approx 15 years ago issueing deleted Goldmine comps on vinyl.
  3. Updated again. Some really nice titles left. Would prefer trading for uptempo Northern, either quality oldies or good lesser knowns...
  4. Bank transfer in Euro currencies within the EUR-zone are free (from Germany). Bank transfers in Euro currencies outside EURO-zone but within the EU cost 25 cent (again, from Germany). Bank transfers in other currencies (e.g. GBP) within EU cost a shi*t load of fees. Thing is, it seems that UK based banks sometimes "forget" that Euro transfers are almost free of charge and deduct some hefty fees. Unless recipient slaps his bank managers fingers and demands pay back of the fees they get away with it.
  5. I agree with you, custom record very likely. The backing is pure Detroit class yet the voice is rather 'thin', I'd even say Popcorn took an unused backing track from his vaults and dubbed her singing over it. I don't think he would made the effort to use a full backing band on ML.
  6. Thanks guys! As you might have guessed there's a EX copy on its way to me, if anybody's interested feel free to contact me...
  7. Value needed: Spinners - That's what little girls are made for - UK Columbia 4693 W/D Think somebody once said this is one of the ultimate collectables for any UK Soul collector? Have seen an issue on a website @ 250. What could the demo fetch? 300? Thanks Benji
  8. Ian, haven't heard your Chuck Jackson take but the CD I got starts with a doctored IFTWYW credited to Chuck Jackson so I assume we're talking about the same version. Can post the track list of my CD if wanted?
  9. Infact there is such a software, you can alter vocals, backing, slow down speed up whatever. If you know how to handle it you can gain some excellent results There's a whole CD of doctored "alt takes" been doing the rounds for quite a few years now. Some sound brill, some ok and some of these 'alt takes' are awful..

  13. Wanted: Purple Mundi - Stop hurting me baby - Cat Can look a bit shabby as long as it plays alright Cheapest variation of the three presses if possible Anyone? Please PM, thanks
  14. First issue of a previously unreleased recording, taken from the master tape. I'd like to say it's a legit release but am not too sure abut it. IL had a hand in releasing it. Many people were fooled thinking it was a 70s press, but the dreadful 90s IL-style synth instrumental on the flip was the hint.

  16. Last bump. Auctions ending in a few hours...
  17. Yes, white demo. But it's a 70s issue that ties in with the UK reissue of YJDK in 77/78. Shouldn't be worth much IMO, 20/25 max.
  18. Updated again. Might do straight sale, depends what you want...
  19. Updated again. Still open to any nice 60s offers
