  6. I got a VG+/VG++ issue copy, suppose it's rarer than the demo. PM me an offer if you're still after one, ok?
  7. Great track it is! I wasn't referring to your 2006 posting but to Manchain's from two days ago
  8. I don't know the seller but my close friend Joerg Brenner knows him pretty well and says he's 100% honest so I'd have no reason to doubt his story about Lester Tipton. If any of you guys are coming to the 2009 Bamberg Weekender you can ask Brad (AKA burl*one) personally
  9. Marc, if the dates in your quotes are correct John pm'd you on Oct 24 saying he got the record that day. On Oct 29 you accuse him of having the record for weeks??? And if you state "stamped original" in your description you should be able to actually know what sort of stamp it is, e.g. ZTSC matrix, raised x, Frankford-Wayne, etc. John, I assume that there is a raised "x" in the run out? I consider it common collectors knowledge that this is a often used run out stamp. If you were unsure you should have asked around before accusing Marc of selling a bootleg. To be honest, I think both of you haven't done yourself any favours in this case.
  10. There's a Highland white demo on Shifty's recent list, 80 quid or so. first release on Dynamo, pink label. west coast recording.

King - 100 times rarer too! Post from Germany extra (£3.20 regular, £4.50 registered, that's just the actual postage!). Paypal prefered, no extra fees. Please PM me if interested. Cheers Benji

less than half of that is more realistic, 75-100 IMO...
  14. I quite like it and I'd buy for 20 if it wasn't in such a bad condition. It's a Belgian Popcorn classic, hence the price tag????
  15. For Sale: Lamont Cranston Band - El Cee Notes - Waterhouse Records - EX/EX Original LP that includes "Takin a chance" Northern Soul biggie back in the 80s. GBP 15 incl. shipping in Europe. Paypal only, no extra fees Please PM me if interested Benji

  20. I got an EX condition white demo of it, not sure of value so please PM with an offer if you're interested, ok? Cheers Benji
  21. don't forget the french 45!
  22. can't access flickr from my office PC but is this like an online gallery with thumbnails? Some may remember I used to run this website with all these Northern Soul label scans. It's still online but last updated was I think in 2003. Would it be a good idea if I upload all my scans to flickr? I got tons more that I never got around to upload.
  23. Thanks for your posts guys but I got an Esther Philips 1 month ago and Keith, no, that's not the Lovelites disc I'm after (seems that nobody reads my posts properly ) These two are the last (affordable) ones I need to get back after I sold parts of my collection a few years ago: Lovelites - Get him off my conscience - Lovelite Gene Chandler - Mr. Big shot - Constellation Willing to pay reasonable but not inflated prices for both, condition VG or better only please.
  24. they did at least three P-Vine CDs on Tommy Tate. Bought two of them blind, unfortunately both didn't feature any of his "older" material. If anybody wants them just PM me
  25. I finally got one two weeks ago. My copy was definitely pressed in the early 70s. Maybe Gino pressed up some additional copies in the late 80s/early 90s after enquiries from the UK? Can you ask Tomo (is that Tomo from Middlesbrough?) to post a scan of his copy here so we compare label designs? Have to agree 100% with you. The production is rather amateur-ish, he misses the right notes every there and then but it's the sheer commitment that comes with the song that makes it so special (at least to me).
