That Artistics on Cha Cha 731 is an interesting 45...i got a copy in LA in 1988.....ive never seen one for sale but i dont get out much....Cha Cha is a Chicago label...it mentions Don De Music (the artist name is spelt "Artistic's" )...i dont recall seeing it on any Artistics discography either.....whats it like?....well its a soulful mid-tempo cha cha!.....".take your partners please "

adds T1509 JULIUS BROCKINGTON "LETS STAY TOGETHER/ROCK STEADY....both apparently from the SOPHISTICATED FUNK album TLP1006........really like his two stepper on Burman too

Theres some similarity between the scanned 45 and THE VOICES "FOREVER IS A LONG LONG TIME" on PENNY....Richard Pegue is involved in both and the label names look connected....is he related to Lou Courtney?....searching the net reveals he's currently a dj on WVON Chicago....wonder if its possible to listen to his show.....look here https://www.wvon.com/personality/per_richard.html

I didnt know i had BOAP....!...i had it filed under the other side which used to get plays way back.....i apparently had a Canyon copy (crossed out in the book)........it goes to show how you can live in splendid ignorance if you dont attend much.......the scanned copy has a Bell Sound stamp.....btw Manships book has TATLIC as coming out twice on Maple...the other one Maple 9000 has a diff B side ("i can't take no chances" )....
