once i had a guy who asked for me to play bari track ...and i had loads of other pre requests to play that were big cheese//so i politely said ..i don,t think im going to get time to play your request ,but if you ask the next dj to play it i,m sure he will. ....as i was going to leave it out for him to play first ....2mins later he came up again with only 2 tunes play in my spot..... ...he said if you don,t play bari track next i,m gonna break your f...in legs......nice eh ......i didn,t play it and fortunately the promoter /dj had him escorted back to his seat.......no i didn,t leave the tune out to play ...

its sold for as much as 5k before now and in only ex condition

don,t think he has worked hard for them, i believe they were bought as a one off deal,,so none of the excitement of trawling and diggin and the thrill of the chase etc

kenny did play a copy of the tune , but had the real deal with him most of the time..i know when frank signed the 45 it was a question we all asked where he should sign it. sleeve or record ....does it really matter ?

no disrespect to the thread or comments ,but i,ve moved a few big cheese items on at going prices to date because i was offered a fair price,and offered to buyers on there wants list fabulous tunes ,only to be told by potential buyers ..way out of my league ..does everyone expect to get rare 45,s for prices that were the going price 10 to 15 years ago...there are no cheap rare 45,s out there anymore ...dont ask for rare 45,s without thinking it through that the going rate will have to be met..here or in the states ...everything has its price its up to the buyers to put there money up or go without. i repeat do buyers expect to get rare valuable records for prices 10 to 15 years ago.....i can,t find them so why should i sell great 45,s cheap...example i was asked to sell my sandi sheldon mint okeh demo and he couldn,t understand why i laughed and didn,t reply at his going rate value of £600....i was told thats the price whats wrong with you ?i didn,t reply.....lets get real ...please.
