A late comer to this fantastic soul night. My first time was when Chris Penn played his farewell set. He announced at the end of his set he was playing out with the same track he started with, when he first began playing there. Then Covid struck, I was so looking forward to the next one. A change in running order, Paul will be flying solo until 9pm. So turn up early for some great sounds.

Unfortunately, Tot can't be with us tonight. He has had to isolate due to an operation next week. We at Cheshire Soul Club wish him well & a speedy recovery. We look forward to his return next month, when it is our Charity Night in aid of St Luke's Hospice (raffle donations welcome) a truely worthy cause. Paul Fradley will be standing in for me & I will be standing in for Tot. We look forward to seeing you.

Fingers crossed Boris doesn't stop this one. This month (our first this year) we welcome our friend from Soul At The Services Rod Looker. No stranger to playing the soul clubs, in and around Northwich and around the Northwest. Rod is sure to bring something special to the Recs return. A night not to be missed.

Way out of my price range. I think its over priced at that. Had some PM & the consensus seems to be 700 - 750 is a fare price. Dealers would probably disagree, I would be surprised if it goes for 1500. Seems collecting in 2020 is a rich mans hobby, no longer a working mans hobby. This must be the same record.

When it arrives, I will offer up a pic on Discogs, as there's none there at the moment. I wanted it for sentimental reasons, it was part of my wife's funeral music. Let's hope it arrives before her 5th anniversary.
