I've tried to clean the sound a bit since I made the original snippet. The original acetate is kind of crackly and it don't get any better with my attempts to clean it. When I bought it I had a conversation with the seller who told me that the acetate came from a guy who tried to get this group from Newark signed. The guy he got it from did not remember what the group was and he didn't seem to care either apparently. The seller had no contact info to this guy either so that's sort of a dead end... This is the other side of the acetate a slow sweet number. I thought I'd make another mix just before Christmas. This one contains a few rare 45s I've acquired lately. Two unissued acetates - one a rare alternate take of a Philadelphia crossover tune by the Exceptions and one is a one off demo recording of an unknown group labelled Karriem Productions on the acetate. Also worth taking not of is Louzett and the Fabulous Swans on the Pearl label which is a wonderful midtempo gem which seems pretty unknown. This is the only copy I've ever heard of... I agree Greg. Fantastic track that should be heard more. One of my favourite tracks this year. I never get tired of hearing it... And the LP is not that common.

Any guesses? It's both sides off an acetate I bought. Seller told me it was unissued but I wanted to be sure... I have no idea what the group is. Any similarities with other groups? It's from New Jersey I believe.
