I walk the canal from Brooklands to Crossford Bridge plaing fields, when it's quiet like this morning, making my way back along the mersey from Crossford Bridge. There was a couple of guys "magnet fishing" on the brooklands basin there last week and caught a bike, shopping trolley, wheel rims and the like. I don't think they would of won anything for them 🙂

Bury Council Venue Closure Consultation
Some great memories of Bury & the Longfield Suite but it shows how this virus is affecting everything. If these big council run buildings are on the verge of closure, imagine how some smaller venues are coping with nothing happening, not just soulwise but alsorts of public/social gotherings. I feel it's going to be another very long and difficult year for some.

The Ric-Tic Label
Interesting, my 112 has the number scratched in but no T1 that I can see. 108 again has the number scratched by with 55 or ss (quite difficult to tell) on the I'm Satisfied side and s or 5 on the Blueberry Hill side. 107 has the number scratched in but there is nothing else that I can see

Just looking though the discogs site and for someone like me who doesn't really know about stamps and numbers, I find it interesting to see what I have or haven't got.

The Ric-Tic Label
Just going through my small Ric-Tic collection and I have noticed that quite a few of my Red ones (106-118) have the numbers scratched in the run out as oppossed to the Blue ones (127-134) that have the numbers stamped in the runout, although a couple of the Red ones have a stamp on one side but not on the other. The one Yellow (103) and one DJ Copy (138) are both stamped yet Freddie Gorman (101) is scratched with a very small "Bell Sounds" stamp. Just curious as I'll be letting them go in the next couple of months and wondered if they were all originals or second press/re-issues. I've looked on here but can't find much info Thanks

Yes, a few use it to get on the Stratford meadows and you always get dirt bags hanging in the trees unfortunately. I'm usually on the other side where it's not as muddy as only half the number of people use that side but it is good that folk are getting out but if this is happening all over then it's not too good for the river banks and trails. Good and bad together I suppose.

Winsford nighter.
Great video of a great all niter. I went to quite a few and enjoyed them but didn't realise it went on for that amount of time. Time certainly does pass by, the older we get.

Not great photos but two to show how covid is affecting things as folk are finding what's on their doorstep. First photo is from February 2020 pre covid and how the path usually is. The second is from today and shows a mud fest after 1000's of feet over the past nine months or so. I wonder if the grass will ever return.

Show us your great photos (2020)
Well I'm not sure I'll be posting anymore on here this year so I'll leave it with a few memories of the mountains that I've missed this year. Some fantastic pictures again on this thread despite all what's gone on and here's hoping we can all share a few more next year. Hope everyone has a great 2021 and that we can all get out and about sooner rather than later. All the best everyone 👍 A Snowdon Inversion, Looking down on the Langdale Valley in the Lakes, St. Sunday Crag Lake District, Reflections of Snowdon, View from the tent
