Long John Baldry - The Drifter
My copy was f*cking unique then eh? So now I have to go through all my Parlophone and Columbia listings to see if I can recall what the recorded produced in Ireland actually was! All I remember it was the B side to a well known A side.

This Is Out Of Order
The bloke who I started this topic about told me he hadn't got time to queue in a post office to get items registered, and he's ok because paypal will cover anything that goes missing...except they won't, unless there is proof that they were sent! It's a shame because he has another nice batch of stuff on ending today and I'd probably have bid a few hundred with him but not if he can't guarantee they will arrive

Moved away from sales section as I don't want to be accused of sabotaging a sale! It's rare alright but brilliant? Hardly. And like I said, different version to the one off the LP which is the version most people will have heard- New Northern List
Nobody bought mine mate, maybe they think if it's too cheap there must be a catch??- This Is Out Of Order
I've got a bloke ordered a record from me not last monday but the friday before that, so something like 11-12 days ago, no payment by friday just gone, so I sold it. He rings me monday, I tell him I sold it, he calls me a "f*cking time waster"- Tuesday - Leroy Burgess Related Tunes
No offence but who the heck is Leroy Burgess and are we all meant to have recordings by him or something? I've never heard of him!- This Is Out Of Order
Seems to be common mate, except these were even more expensive than the ones that you forgot to register, record or address!- This Is Out Of Order
Let me just see what the response to my email is first...- Line Up Changes
I saw the original line up of the 4 Tops at Wolverhampton Gaumont in 1971 or 72, I was 11 anyway, my auntie gave me the tickets, I can't remember much about it apart from the fact that the bouncers made every single person sit down throughout the show and anyone who dared get up to dance was dragged away never to be seen again!- Long John Baldry - The Drifter
All joking aside, it should be Great To Be Living and it states it's recorded at so and so studios in Ireland, if it doesn't say that then I had the only copy that did!- Long John Baldry - The Drifter
Whats on the B side John, I'm starting to think I am going mad here, it's an uptempo stomper, if it's not then I'm thinking of a totally different record!- Interesting Record
- The "heydays" Of Northern Soul
How on earth is he meant to know you are a vegetarian???- This Is Out Of Order
As far as I'm concerned. If I win records totalling almost £300 on ebay and the seller charges me £4 postage, I would have expected at least recorded delivery. They came this morning, 1st class standard, might even have been second class, not registered, not recorded, and get this - without even a return address on the back. If the seller's on here reading this I hope it gives you a kick up the arse.- Long John Baldry - The Drifter
For f*cks sake, I never said he was Irish, I said it was recorded in Ireland! Have a look at the credit on the B side...I haven't seen it for a dozen or more years but I'm sure it says so-and-so studios, Ireland- Long John Baldry - The Drifter
Well he recorded it in his studio in Ireland...check the label...by the way you know I meant Charles, it's trying to type to fast! - Bootlegs?
