Most Loved Sound On Our Scene
I quite like the Garland Green record, but not as a northern 45...just a pleasant tune. Bob Relf and Freddie Chavez - prefer Freddie but neither are ones I couldn't live without. Can anyone not like the Epitome Of Sound?

Bill Bush
Yes they are awesome mate, though they mixed a few up this time, then again I had 42 done

Bobby Goldsboro-too Many People
That's the version that used to be played...I think it's UK only though it may have come out in South Africa or Germany or somewhere. The first time I ever heard the slower version was when it was bootlegged on a ridiculous 4 track EP, then UA gave it an official release using the wrong version. The fast version has never been reissued. I had an Italian one and it was the slow version. I'll sort you an mp3 out if I can find it.

Best Friend Around - It's So Good To Know (lonnie)
Bejayzus, it's my worst nightmare come true. Records like these should all be attacked with a hammer. I wondered why that bastard who bought Pete Warner off me for £10 last year laughed his socks off later

Last Threee Before Eight

Tight gits  some great enders that deserve a listen are: the blossoms - stand by - bell (uk pama) the ster phonics - don't leave me - mas tok ray pollard - let him go and let me love you - ua and what about little anthony - hurt so bad

Couldn't You Just Kick Yourself Sometimes?
- Yvonne Baker - I Can't Change
I'd have said 50 max on the first one and 30 max on the second...in fact I had one about 3 lists ago.- All Nite Long Album - Who's Got One?
This album came out twice. The first one had, totally off the top of my head, THE Q JOHN & WEIRDEST TY KARIM DEADBEATS COURT DAVIS PROFESSIONALS on side one, and a pile of modern shite on side 2. BUT in the late 80's it came out again with the same sleeve but a totally different track listing and a couple of paper inserts. This version had things like You Want To Change Me on it. The Deadbeats jumped on every single copy of that first press.- Whats your most Prized record?
The UK and the US releases of this are slightly different I think - certainly the artists name is changed on the UK one to Willie Amos Hunt- Deon Jackson - Some Day Etc Yet Again
Now sold, thanks- Labels
- Oh What A Feeling - Tommy Tucker - London
Now that intimates to me that you don't believe I'd sell it for that. Watch me...oh except it's now £140 to you- Deon Jackson - Some Day Etc Yet Again
I've got a spare one sided vinyl dub if anyone wants it PM- Oh What A Feeling - Tommy Tucker - London
I'd doubt if it was UK only, can't remember who the licensers were but London only put out records from overseas sources so it wasn't recorded in the UK.- Members Suggestions ?
I'd make a separate forum for 70's soul. Miles away from this one. :graynone: - Yvonne Baker - I Can't Change
