    Absolutely.
  3. We did a little topic about these bootlegs a few weeks back, might have just been me and Ian D doing it, there was also Magnificents My Heart Is Calling and Stanley Mitchell get It Baby and a couple of others from the same source. Turns out it was the same typeface as the Sandy Golden record!

I don't know, there's all sorts of things going on in this topic. Three or four different strands. I like the "Happy" record, I liked the Brits thing, I have no objection to the commercial aspect. I don't think "Happy" is a Northern Soul record. I don't think it should ever be played at a Northern Soul venue. I am not impressed at being called an old bastard by a young person and that's the only reason I'm still on the topic. But as for Pharrell, the girl dancers, whatever, enjoy them and enjoy yourselves I say.
  5. Acknowledgement at last, thank you Groundskeeper Willie!

Mike, just do a search on here and it'll be an eye opener, 3 weeks ago I sold a mint Ann Heywood on here for £150 so nobody's going to look twice at a VG one for £70 more than that. It's like everything, some have gone up, some have gone down, but if you have an early 80's collection, it'd be hard to lose money on them overall.

Just an observation but you're asking mint prices for VG records
  9. I did the same, I had nearly 1000, gave a few hundred away then binned the rest. Having said that, I might be interested in the ones you have if they've got track listings - I'd certainly pay the p&p and a bit extra..
  10. Indeed it does Dave, ta
  11. Yeah it is, 2nd press, thanks everyone.
  12. That's why I wondered of styrene was a repress maybe?
  13. Well I can only find one for sale anywhere, £42 in VG, yet one went on ebay for £7?
  14. Just listing some records, have one ALFRED BROCKINGTON - YOUR LOVE HAS GOT ME CHAINED AND BOUND - PHIL LA OF SOUL 334 this is styrene, looks early 70's, anyone know if it's a reissue? If not, any idea of price? Never even heard it before, seen it around but never got round to listening to it. It's a yellow issue, not the DJ below, but all label details are identical

  20. Well good for them, do we have to have endless topics about it, I've just discovered rare R & B 78's from the 50's, would you open a topic about me and my pioneering spirit Steve...
  21. Hold it, the top right one was also booted identical to that picture. Didn't realise that for years. But it was, 100% definite.
