  1. To the same repeated thing - a record selling for a ridiculous price.
  2. Tell them not to post the auction results then if you don't want to hear any responses.
  3. I shall be keeping them peeled.
  4. Yeah but that was done by two of the Stafford boys, totally separate. Mafmon = Mafia Monster
  5. All those "Boot" label releases were aimed at the scooter scene Grant, as were the "Joker" and "SOS" label ones, all came from the same UK source I believe.

I like the Staple Singers Mike I just think that this is a terrible song though to be fair I first heard it when it was released when I was a kid and I hated it then as well...
  7. There was a budget LP release on UK MGM after she hit with Band Of Gold, it's got almost everything you need on it, might be easier to find (unless it's that that you mean anyway)

Carole King's is the definitive version of It's Too Late, no one else need bother.

That's a truly terrible song no matter who sings it. In my opinion. Heard it on the radio yesterday, take a load off Fanny? Anny?
  10. Sorry didn't read the rules, didn't realise had to be Northern!

  12. One day, someone somewhere will tell me what the English version of this song was called and who did it. Sorry Paul no help to you but it's been doing my head in for a year at least. I can do you a decent cd of French girls if you're inclined. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGa1Iz4EeS0
  13. I paid even less than that Tim, not 12 months ago, but we'd better stop now before someone says we're slagging people off despite only discussing the price of a record.
  14. I know this is becoming a weekly occurrence but the winner of the Maxine Brown UK demo could have had mine for £25 a few months ago.
  15. I've sold the Keep On Running, if anyone is unsure about what to offer for the other one I want around £100.
  16. What a fantastic site, who's behind that?
  17. You know what I meant allright, the COMPOSERS' version of his own song.
  18. JACKIE EDWARDS - COME ON HOME / I DON'T KNOW - WIRL tremendous double sider - one side of the red and white Island 45 backed with the best of his sides issued on UK Aladdin, and the only way to get these two back to back. Fantastic condition for a Jamaican original 45 - it's at least EX. Looking for offers on this one please, I think we're probably not likely to see another in this condition for a long time. also JACKIE EDWARDS - KEEP ON RUNNING - WIRL The original version, mysteriously not released by Jackie as a 45 in the UK, here is the Jamaican original. This one has some surface marks but I've played it through and the worst I can say is that it has a little crackle in the background when turned up loud. Asking £30 for this one. SOLD
  19. £30 if anyone else wants one
  20. I don't Ollie, sorry, but if you see anything, don't email, ring! The phone always takes preference over email because if it rings, I have to answer it and the emails mount up when I'm on the phone. (Also get on my mailing list as it goes out to subscribers before it goes on soul source)

Yes you are, you can say what you like if that's your opinion, it's nobody else's business.
