Susan Coleman, The Age Of The Wolf On Remmix Records
They did Barbara English and Ronnie Forte (terrible quality) at the same time but the Susan Coleman was out before those two.
-
Susan Coleman, The Age Of The Wolf On Remmix Records
Weird that they did it one sided but like the others, it'll be from around the middle of 1977.

Susan Coleman, The Age Of The Wolf On Remmix Records
There's two different boots of this, one is styrene and easy to spot, the other is vinyl and has a pretty poor Nashville Matrix copy, it's much bigger than it should be (the writing, not the record!). Dave, I've never heard of this being played at the Mecca, pretty sure it was a Russ discovery and exclusive to Wigan to start with. Possibly East Coast too.

3 Tops
Don't know the personnel but they were recording from approx 1966 into the early 70's, firstly as Dion Cameron & The Three Tops, then just as Three Tops for Treasure isle, Coxsone etc. The also recorded as The Soul Tops and did a version of Chuck Jackson's Good Things Come To Those Who Wait. The latest record I remember seeing by them was Three Tops Medley issued in 1972.

Last Chance Before Ebay - Jeanette Williams, Garland Green, Godoy Colbert, Attractions, Benny Troy
That's about right...

Cee Lo Greene
I don't know if I'd call it amazing, it's "alright", I've forgotten it already but hey ho, anyway the point I'm making is, retro sound, retro video, there's no difference between this and the other 'retro' soul music of recent times, that's all.
-
Cee Lo Greene
I like it, but it's no different from th retro soul sound of say Eli Paperboy Reed who gets slagged off on here for doing exactly the same thing but as a WHITE PERSON, no doubt because this guy is a black man this will be treated as real deal, 100% authentic soul from the very people who slagged EPR off.

Just A Few Bits I've Fetched Back From The States
Don't be silly.

Soulboy - The Movie. You've Seen It So . .
Some people on here said it would show for one weekend then go straight to video - I'm amazed it's stayed on the cinemas for so long but am really pleased for the film makers to be honest, always nice to prove people wrong.

Joe Jama - Anyone Know The Release Date?
Appreciate the offer Nev but dunno if I'd like anything else, especially a remake!
-
Joe Jama - Anyone Know The Release Date?
Well you're not alone there, I only heard it 3 years ago at the most, I just liked it immediately.
-
Joe Jama - Anyone Know The Release Date?
Why, do you not like it or something? I think it's one of the best records I've ever heard. Not vocally or instrumentally, just the fact it's so happy and optimistic, always cheers me up, specially when I think of that bit of film I posted of Sam dancing round the room to it when he was about 3.
-
Joe Jama - Anyone Know The Release Date?
Thanks folks, what I really want to do is establish whether it's a 60's or a 70's release cos if it's 60's it will f*ck up my latest podcast and I wanted to include it.

Joe Jama - Anyone Know The Release Date?
