  1. If anyone needs a nudge in the right direction, Flanny is one of the most professional sellers (and buyers) I've dealt with on here. Well pleased with our transactions.
  2. So have I got the only white demo then?
  3. Yeah I gave her all the broken and hissing styrene ones to play with Rob, around 30 of them
  4. I think one of those went through ebay a few years back. Looks amazing.
  5. Yeah it's got to be rare, think I only got about 25/30 for it.
  6. Phil prepares to listen to his George lemons single for the first time
  7. Sorry, disagree completely, Popsike is completely useless as a price guide because it reports auction results. Two people bid a record up, auction price. Nothing to do with set sale price.
  8. Yes but that's the point - it's the only place to say anything where you can stop the person/victim buying it!
  9. There's at least half a dozen I'd buy but the problem is the usual one, they are priced at more or less exactly what I'd sell them for (therefore they are obviously very reasonable! ). Sometimes I wish I just collected records and didn't just buy them to sell. Jock Mitchell, only ever had that once, fantastic record.
  10. If you saw me trying to sell an original Out On The Fllor to some div for £100, I would have hoped you'd have stood up and said something! Theres still a lot of gullible people around, you only have to study ebay to see that.
  11. Sorry, totally disagree, when they are listed they do not have a buyer so why can't they be discussed. I'm really sick of people coming on here from nowhere, asking ridiculous prices for records then becoming incredulous when someone questions it.
  12. Yeah well I am, so tough.
  13. I think so, I had to edit it so that the buyer had exclusivity but I must have put at least half of it up, if not, I'll see if I've still got it

Sean the comment on the Bits & Pieces is because it's a bootleg and should be sold as one for a lot less money (absolutely coincidentally I've got one listed at 5 quid on ebay at the moment - 5 quid against 50 quid!)
  15. Was £60 on here this week!
  16. Nice to know that the deaf schools are getting good funding nowadays.
  17. Now why am I not surprised to see you making these comments? So you're scared of your prices being discussed are you - what does that say in its self? If I was selling a record too expensively I wouldn't mind someone pointing it out. If you want to know, comments on records are mainly to stop people who may not know as much as others being ripped off. Simple as that.

There are some cracking records on there but you can understand why there's comment about it. How much would this lot cost me away from gemm? adams apples fidels gia mateo jean carter joey heatherton soul twins vibrations
  19. We really do need to sort out a place where people can comment on sales listings, especially when the people concerned are listing records at total rip off prices. It should be possible for someone to be able to say something seems to be a bit on the expensive side or in some cases, this is a blatant rip off...because there's a fair few of those around on Soul Source at the moment.

If you think a no centre UK CBS Shirley Ellis is worth £50 then you're the
  21. Last year I had another one from the same era that I didn't think was on a white promo - Andre Maurice "You're the cream of the crop" - that must be pretty rare too.
  22. Chakly, or Chalky even, thanks for that, I've been after it for years. Pretty boring because of the repetitiveness unfortunately but remember that Harthon acetate of the If You Can't Be True instrumental I sold last year, that was even more boring, at one point they play the same 4 bars for about a minute. Laws Of Love instrumental is pretty boring too.
  23. I swear, never seen this as a demo, didn't even know they existed.
