Albert, trust me on this, that record is practically worthless on UK Stateside unless it's a demo, it was a big chart hit and you won't get more than five pounds for it, honestly.

No this was ages ago, about 5 weeks, I got it in 2 or 3 days. There should be no wait at all, he has a vinyl cutter by the looks of it. I can guarantee you that ebay will not be interested.

All he is doing is thinking of a title, advertising it, and if anyone wants a copy, he then cuts a record. So he doesn't have stocks of them, he makes them to order. I admit I bought one, because I wanted to see how it compared to vinyl carvers.

Yes, I just happened to be driving through some part of Derbyshire where I've never been before and would you believe it, I saw these two records lying in the road! I saved them. (Though my scan of the yum yums appeared on a thread here a month ago and also in Its The Beat magazine)

I agree with everthing you say above, especially about no longer being able to buy records at sensible prices from the USA, except one thing, and thats that I still don't use book prices for my records for sale, very rarely anyway - I put 7 or 8 good titles up for sale tonight and I think only one is at book price

To add to the list that Rob Moss compiled of Mike's non-Motown appearances, I would bet my last penny that he is responsible for the sax solo during Eartha Kitt's "There comes a time" (Musicor) which is a Solid Hitbound production if ever I heard one...whichever musicians played on The Debonaires - Loving you takes all of my time, also played on this record.

Styrene demo - excellent condition with a few paper marks but no scratches - slight dirtying of raised part of label but nothing serious - great copy. £700, no paypal unless 4% paid but cards, bank transfer welcome.

I've got this record, Man Of Stone, and I have to say I think it's utter rubbish. It's an early 60's Gene McDaniels "Tower of strength" type thing which is ok but ruined by dreadful female backing singers. The reason I mention this is because I was just browsing through the new price guide and it's in there for 200 quid! I've got a copy which looks dead rough but plays fine - an offers? Starting at £20?

Probably legit mate - test pressings were made of every record so no reason why these shouldn't be real.
