How people make it difficult for you to even find a record: I used to have this Jamaican blank copy of Dave Barker's version of "Out Of Love" and I always wondered if it came out on UK, but searched to no avail. Then I found out it was actually issued here, but not as Dave Barker, but as Dave McLaren...and it wasn't called Out Of Love is was called Love Is What I Bring! No wonder I couldn't find the bloomin thing. Anyway I got one on Monday, £28, which considering I set the snipe at £88 I am quite happy with. Sad thing is - it's nowhere near as good as I remember it

Have to disagree mate, this is one of the records that killed Wigan for me, 10th rate things like this, Cobblestone, Loves A Magic Word, John Leach - hated it then, hate it now! To each his own...

One of the worst...ever

I'd like to hear a perfect quality version of Gino Washington - Rat Race - the ones he had pressed were very noisy

The problem is though - there's not going to be many here I haven't got in some shape or form, so I'd be buying it for the dvd really...and I can't justify paying £75 for that, but for someone who doesn't have such a big collection, it really is the best possible selection, either as a starter, or for someone maybe getting back into it - or just for anyone who appreciates good music.

My goodness - that has got to be the best compilation ever made. Apart from my 10 hour Wigan special.

Mary Sneed is one the best girl group records ever! I'd buy it if I hadn't got it.

Right, he does play Tommy Ridgley, he even announces it after he's played it before going into The Inspirations, so it is Richard playing it, not some substitute, the tape is uncut. I can't make out what he is calling it though. If people still don't believe me, I'll put half an hour of the tape up.

The difference is it's completely different, if you can't actually hear it by listening to the record then it's pointless me trying to explain, they're playing a different tune on the trumpets for a start!

It's not an exact copy, it's a variation on it using the original backing track, there are four or five versions, maybe more. I got lots of money for it so I don't care
