  1. I always thought this record was called "March (you'll be sorry)", this one just says "You'll be sorry" - are there loads like this?

That guy says he will ship overseas as merchandise only do if anyone from the Uk buys it they will get done for about £400 import duty

You sure it wasn't a boot Ian? I've never seen an issue, ever. Loads of demos. Worth at least £300 if it actually exists.

But the production is only half as good. This is a terrible version, William Bonney's version is better than this. In my opinion...
  5. Great stuff mate, thanks for posting up
  6. Sh*t, can't have that, send me your address again and I'll send you another and something else for your trouble, wouldn't dream of making you pay again!
  7. Sure I had this once, not even the same song.
  8. Not sure why they did that Against My Will pressing because it had already been pressed as I'm Falling In Love With You Baby!
  9. Honest answer would be "I don't know" but on American, wouldn't have thought morethan £30, thats my honest opinion anyway

See further comments above, they sound unfinished without a 'big city' production, I'm not on about the quality of the sound clips which are perfectly good. They're a bit..hollow sounding. if you check you'll see I've been saying that for years since it was first discussed, not just since you've had them in stock!

Yeah thats what I mean, they need to be really fleshed out, but even if they were they couldn't come close - Dean Courtneys record is one of the greatest 45's ever made, the production and arrangement is unbelievable - Bobby Hebb's Love Love Love isn't far behind - the problem with the Barry tracks (!) is lack of a big orchestra behind them. They're ok if you'd never heard another version.

Yeah it was on the LP. These sound like ropey outtakes compared to Dean Courtney and Joey Heathertons versions.
  13. I also have to admire the fact you've trawled back through almost 5 years worth of lists to be able to come up with something that might embarrass me. How f*cking sad is that?
  14. Dunno, I was saying the bootleg wasn't rare, smartarse
  15. Chalky told me the other day that he literally bumped into one of the members of The Professionals in Detroit a few months ago and when Chalky asked him about That's Why I Love You, the guy told him that he didn't even know it had been released even locally in Detroit.
  16. I bid £235 I think, trouble was, I only spotted it 5 minutes before it ended so didn't have time to do any research, just went by instinct...if I'd have had time I would have bid £500
  17. In the boot guide it makes no mention of a proper design Soultown copy. And like I said, I've never seen one, you'd think after all these years and seeing thousands and thousands of records you'd see one copy.
  18. Ebay's a major auction site I reckon...
  19. Not arguing with you but I've never seen one in, what, 33 years - but I've had every other pressing on the label numerous times...it can't have been distributed like the others were
  20. No it's not the same, that's the one with the instrumental on the B side which as far as I know is the only bootleg. If you look underneath that you'll see the proper one listed as not available
  21. As far as I know, it was never pressed with the proper B side so thats why I bid over £200 on it...if it was a pressing, then - phew!
  22. The version with the bongos cameout in late 76 and we all hated it at the time as it wasn't the version we knew. The second one, the lookalike, came at least a year later. That had previously unissued instrumental version on the back. As to where they came from - I reckon they may have both been legit due to the use of mastertapes.
  23. Thanks Martin but that joker wants 19 quid for one issue, I'd happily give him 2 quid
  24. If it sounds like I need those specific ones in the pic, I don't, my apologies - I need all and any issues, the mag started in 1960 and ran til about 75
  25. I don't think Lomax ever went to Africa.
