A bit off topic but sort of related I was listening to Bette Midler on a show on Radio 6...really liked what she was playing...not northern or anything like that but a really good show...then she dropped in The Andantes Like A Nightmare....nearly dropped me glass of Pinot !!!

I went to The Casino from early days...late 73/early 74 and certainly knew Shawn Robinson...maybe it was more of a local North West play encouraged by plays at Va-Va's.....I used to go to a place in Burscough called the football club...SoulSpinners 4 as DJs then....maybe as early as 72 and pretty sure it was played there

Pretty sure Shawn Robinson was much earlier Gibby...73/74...I take my hat off to those who can date when and where..
