When I went to talk to Willie Hutch he wasn't really interested in talking to me at first. But when I then got my copy of the Phonetics "Just a boys dream" out of an envelope he said "What you got there boy?". I handed it to him, he was sat next to another guy that had come over with him. He was genuinely shocked & turned to his friend & said "Look!". Willie said it was the first copy he'd seen since way back when it was released. His face completely changed, it really lit up. Then he started talking. It was so nice to have met the man, a lovely memory.- Willie Hutch?
He signed this sleeve for me whilst we sat talking at Blackpool the day before your record was signed.- CHRIS JONES "DESTINATION UNKNOWN" £10 each
I've been going through old record storage boxes & found 16 copies of CHRIS JONES "DESTINATION UNKNOWN" / "I'M THE MAN" on GOODIE TRAIN. £10 each plus £1.90 standard 1st class post within the UK. They're all in un-played condition. They all have a tiny dish warp that will not affect play, as they all have this it was something that probably happened when they were produced.- TAL ARMSTRONG - YOU'VE GOT SO MUCH FEELING (IN YOUR LOVE
- BBC record library
Strangely enough they did send out issues, then the BBC stamped them. Here's a TV & the Tribesmen stamped issue. There's white demo copies of this. These BBC programme sleeves are poly lined & caused a reaction with the vinyl creating a frosted effect.- TAL ARMSTRONG - YOU'VE GOT SO MUCH FEELING (IN YOUR LOVE

I found this in LA many years ago. Sadly it has a problem, it looks like someone has spilt something on the playing surface, possibly coke ? unless it's a pressing fault ? It causes hiss when the stylus passes through this area, and on my small portable player (that's all I have at home) the stylus sticks twice. I don't know if anything can be done to cure this, I'm definitely not going to attempt it. You can see it in the photo's. Otherwise it'll look good in a frame lol Price is ten quid plus £1.50 postage within the UK- THE DELL-VIKINGS "FINGER POPPIN' WOMAN" £40

Thanks Chalky, I'd not seen that before.- Thee Midniters. Anyone got this ?
I bought this from someone on Soul Source quite a few years ago. To this day I've still not seen another? Has anyone got one? It's a 12" LP by Thee Midniters, but look at the track listing. Going by the markings in the dead wax I'm thinking it was done in the early 80's? It doesn't have a sleeve.- Groovers on Teri De, Bobby Garrett, Emile Griffith
