Couple others that come to mind Ervin Rucker - She’s all right Not that is a bad thing, but sounds like a straight lift from: bobby bland - yield not to temptation I guess we should also throw in ‘tighten ups’ as a whole genre that sound like one track !

Right, on the subject of Paul Weller, listen to this and tell me which weller song around the Wild wood period did that guitar solo cause I love this 45, but it’s been driving me crazy for a decade, Paul Weller has done that guitar solo in one of his tracks, other than the above:/) just don’t know which one !

Hi all, I know Ted's on here, but here's a C-90 that literally changed my life, the tape is long gone but the tracks are etched into my memory, I've put them all together on a neat little Mixcloud playlist with flyer and scans... hope you like it! actually I think this is more like two tapes, but you get the gist..

Jackie Wilson - I'm the one to Do It / Higher & Higher / Coral (Australia) £12 VG++ very small mark on run out ITOTDI, but you cant hear it all all. Classic Jackie Wilson! looks the business on Aussie Coral as well... From the USA Jimmy Scott - Dont Be Afraid / Impala Ex++ £25 xol, nice copy, and great sixties slowie, written by Freddie Scott no less... Jay Wiggins - My Lonely girl / IPG Ex++ Vinyl copy.. £40, Got this of Pete Smith in 93, done me all that time,until I got a JW one 😉 Baby Washington - Your Fool / Run My Heart / Sue dh Ex++ £20 Classic 45, might be cheap but both sides are just brill, only reason I'm selling it is I have a WD now also a nice Indian copy of Millie Jacksons' 'Still Caught up' LP on Indian Polydor, EX_++ condition cover and vinyl, £15 very slight wear on the outside edges,m but not really noticeable, real nice copy I got from Prague of all places... includes the brill 'You Cant stand the thought' in fact all the tracks are brilliant.. 🙂 Cheers all...
