  13. i always thought that you hit the spot was too short and wondered if anything exists that is longer as it seems to get started then fade out just as its at its peak, which is a shame. an additional 30-40 seconds (or a greedy minute) would make this track incredible.

Great dancer, lesser known. Its hard for me to make mp3s at the moment but i can do phone hearings aussming you are in a similar time zone. If not ill try to accomodate.
  20. ive bought them and sold them around 25 quid
  21. Been seen on a few soul playlists of late. Been a funk staple for a fair while. Great record.
  22. im no traditionalist . open minded music lover who buys most black music genres from 50s upwards, yes. the point being made was i thought it was a gimmick to cover up the weak music. and to be fair it sounds like if 'it wasnt soul' it would be something else which is a major downfall. its almost like 'im doing this 'cos i think its uber cool' . soul minus the soul. the fact he hails from Detroit is neither here nor there. If anything he should be better positioned to do a better job.
  23. i know a riduclous amount of people with this and none will give it up. if you manage a spare id be interested. great tune.
  24. which label for joyce williams please Jerry?
  25. hehehe im not knocking him for doing what he's doing. takes a lot of dedication to get to where he has i just feel that the music is pretty weak in the scheme of things and if you are going to cover something as firing as love is alright then do a decent job of it. im guessing some people who buy this will not even know the phil la soul version. just buy that instead or the cbs one for 50p. when someone knocks up a heart shaped record you have to enquire as to why. became obvious on listening.....something has to sell the record if its not the music. can think of 1000s of ways to spend 7 quid better. cant really see anyone playing this stuff out ?? bamboos version of tighten up seems to be getting airings
