  10. yes canadian, loads of good stuff on spartan, including the steinways youve been leading me on!
  11. hi gang im looking to trade this 45 for a like for like northern tune, not interested in multiple items or cash offer! pm me with what you have in mind. pics of the record below.
  12. Look how relaxed this young ladie is playing through the isley bros tune,I've known bass players who have played for years that aren't as good as her!
  13. I notice he mentions in the description that there is crackle,so that would mean he or she is able to play it,maybe they could play the bside,I'm willing to bet he or she will hear a male song..gene mcdaniels walk with a winner,or Frankie & Johnny I'll hold you!
  14. Sorry mate,I meant 3 prong,not four.
  15. Believe it or not there is at least 1 solid centre timi yuro in existence! Very rat indeed, but yeah your right regarding the 4 prong centre!
  16. I'm willing to bet that either frankie & Johnny or gene mcdaniels is on the bside!
  17. Please tell me that everyone can see that this is a recent 10 quid reissue with a photocopied label stuck over the top of it! how can there be bidders on this, and up to this price! And look at the bloody condition of it...haha honest to god I give up! Almost as shocking as Cajun hart doing £760 Timi Yuro - It'll never be over for me - on Liberty - VGC

  22. You have no hope pal! I sold mine on eBay a few years back, took years to get a copy, and I haven't seen another one since! Wish I'd kept it now, Sorry to put a downer on your want..bloody great record though!
  23. i thought the f hymes was only original if it was orange? the yellow/brown labels are a repress (also i think there is an issue as to whether it has or hasnt got the address on the label?) i think it was actually f hymes that had them pressed up too?
  24. A few years back I listened to oma heard lonely heart on YouTube,Id never heard it before,I then managed to get a copy, but then to my horror discovered the YouTube copy had been speeded up quite a lot! The actual 45 plays a lot slower, but the tune was ruined for me because of the YouTube version! A similar thing happened in the 80's with the release of the Detroit prophets suspicion single,I honestly believed it was a uptempo girl group tune, and I loved it,years later it turns out to be the unreleased male Motown song but really speeded up! To this day I still can't listen to the originals real version!
