  1. The culprit has been revealed, Flanmeister - another man with impeccable taste All the best, Steve
  2. Hi John, not really played out because not enough people have played it out ha ha....on another thread people are wondering why stuff like Rita & Tiaras and Mr Creator cleared the floor at a venue.....now they are played out. Hope you are well.
  3. Perhaps people are finally fed up with these records?
  4. Did I get it from you Steve? I am pretty certain my copy came from Anderson.
  5. Psychadelic Frankie, never mind the upfront venues, this was a big crossover record in the early / mid 90s…..
  6. Superstars lovely - had it for years, never got anywhere with it so well done for giving it an airing! It's a class tune.
  7. It's 10 times harder to find than "Kiss my arse goodbye". He he!
  8. What's wrong with people going for a scooter ride and then seeing a film ffs? They are not harming you or me. Live and let live man. I am confused by your posts as well. The film is set 40 years ago, do Agatha Christie fans worry that there will be an uptake in Poirot lookalikes and moustachio-d cads and bounders committing murders every time they make a new episode? The more that go to the cinema to see this film the better, at last we have an authentic and lovingly put together view of how things were in the early / mid 70s that will resonate with many cinemagoers. But I'm not expecting these cinemagoers to turn into overnight "soulies" or whatever term people use these days, anymore than I am expecting the cinema audiences for "Sex tape" to start err.....making sex tapes.

    Yes it was.
  10. Yes Ian I have collected the entire Chess singles from 64-76, and there are a number on a wealth of other labels like Rojac, East West, Lakeside, Magic Touch etc. and of course Penny. I think every Chess discography I have seen contains errors and a few reacords that never actually appeared. I was going to do a book, one page on each one, with a picture of the label and a bit about it beneath.....it's something I might still do. By the way I am missing The Matta Baby on Penny if anyone has an original for sale......
  11. NOT on Chess only Penny….but with a Chess number, there were a number of records NOT on Chess with Chess numbering….Your question has been answered Ian. Steve

What does this go for now, never really been a favourite…..
  20. It is officially out mid month, I am sure Kermode etc. will review it then. It is showing all over the country at least 60 cinemas, I am sure there will be one near you…
  21. Yes and it is very good.
  22. Like it or not, VAT is payable on the current value of the goods imported, not what they were worth in 1966. HMRC are well aware about how valuable old records can be.
  23. Very truie had exactly the same with Fed Ex. Your bill is £191 - pay up..... :-(
  24. Had these packages left the US and come back? Or had they been rejected for international shipment (i.e. never left the US)? Just trying to understand what you are saying like.
