  2. ah but they have 3 usually 4 tracks though
  3. 🤣why change the habit of a lifetime......🙄🤣😂 7” that play at 33rpm 😏
  4. Depends what speed it was cut at I guess but not sure I’ve heard anything less than 12 on acetate play at 33. Seen plenty of issued 45s play at 33, got some myself.
  5. I didn’t believe the first two, Precisions and Tomangoes were real, It was said where he came from at the beginning and looking at his other sales at the time didn’t fill me with any confidence they were real. This latest just reinforces what I thought originally.
  6. Terribly sad news, another of the good guys taken before their time 😢 R.I.P. John.

  17. 24 Chimneyville? 17 Temple?
  18. Not sure if it has been mentioned but there are some mis-pressed Benn-X 45s which credit both sides to the Inspirations.
  19. Got the Kent CD out and the liner notes says the group is a West Philly group. Its members were Jack Mitchell, William Thomas, Calvin Ogletree, Gerald King and Issac Albright. They cut two tracks "I'm Cutting In and Treat Myself To A New Love. The notes do say the group who cut 45 for Wand and Jamie could possibly be the same group. The Companions, Larry Pinder, Ebert Holmes & Herman Johnson were the same group on General American.
  20. The yellow issue was definitely 2002 Robb.
  21. I'm not so sure these are even related? The group on Benn-X were said to be a studio band who cut one side. These are 10 years previous too. Think the comment on 45cat is simply an assumption purely because of the name.
  22. 1970s? It’s an early 2000 press.
  23. I'm sure the Kent CD notes says they weren't an actual group but a studio group/musicians who simply laid down a cut? I'll dig the CD out tomorrow see what it says.
  24. Dave Brown of Philly Archives was the one who released them, licensed directly from Frank Bendinelli.
