  1. will be worth it for the boot guide alone, and for reference of course.
  2. The studio acetate take is by Jimmy Georgantones.

the better version is the 4 larks - another chance
  4. I think if you re read it Brett I agree that I love the challenge of trying to find out what a cover up is but I keep any info I might have/get etc to myself and not blab it all over a public forum. If you had a record covered up, one you'd spent a lot of money on you'd be none to pleased if it was uncovered on a forum. And as for the crap about not giving the real artist the credit....the real artist would probably never know his or her record is being played and it's hardly gonna make much difference to their bank balance is it. Do those that pay money for records give a percentage to the artist out of respect and to give them some recognition....like hell they do I bet the majority of those listening, dancing to and buying records couldn't give sh*t about artist recognition
  5. the cd is the live recording from the Rocket of Butch's set, thats where the soundfile in refo soul comes from. Andy always plays the other side, more so that Foolish Girl.
  6. yes it is played out, cover up of course and a nighter biggie if you like.
  7. I don't mean anyone in particular Dave, and besides you've given no hints in this topic or other topics of a similiar ilk from what I recall. LIke I said if I have or had any info in the past I've kept it to myself firstly out of respect of the DJ and secondly it could give me the edge in finding one. I agree if a record is rare it will stay rare but the record hounds like Andy and Butch although their conmtacts are far greater than most of what us mere mortals know they don't know everyone. It's hard enough finding new records and when someone does find one keep it exclusive. LIke I said there will come a point soon when the top DJ's won't bother anymore cause of what goes off on public forums and just keep the records for themselves which would be a shame. If you know what a record is great, but keep the info to yourself and get hunting like others did in the first place.
  8. I've always loved the challenge of finding out what a cover up is Harry as well BUT I always kept the info to myself in the hope I'd find one and out of respect to the DJ who is playing the cover up, not blab the info or make remarks that hint to what it is (title or artist etc) on a public forum. I read this topic and similiar topics and seen cetain remarks from DJs but if it was their record they wouldn't be too happy. You have to wonder sometimes why the top DJ's and collectors bother to find new stuff when there always someone trying to be clever on a forum
  9. Steve G has one and Kitch as well I think. All bar two via Andy D.
  10. The Imaginations on Fraternity were from Cincinnati.

Hi Rob, I'm good thanks, hope your all the same. Does sound different i agree but as good as it is it still wouldn't bother me if I never heard it again, just soooo over played, whichever take
  12. think I paid summat like a tenner Baz and sold it for not much more. was a good few years ago though.
  13. some did turn up a while ago, dunno how many exactly.
  14. Is Barbara Mason really worth £407 these days have seen it for around £100 or so in past and thought that was over priced. And how come something as Rare as Tim Harris command s just over a 100 quid more? SWONS!
  15. yep, he's black some pictures on Dave Flynns site and think he has his own web site??? Still singing etc I think.
  16. Both Colin and Jock did a set at Lifeline last year, great they were too, one of the best nights at Lifeline for me. Was it Treviski who said he didn't get back to London till 6?
