I've seen two or three in recent times. One other week at the Wilton (I think).

I've seen in the £300 region. Personally think worth half that but suppose case of supply and demand.
  3. it had ties with Scepter/Wand. Pete Garris the Garrison owner was the A&R man at Scepter apparently.
  4. New York wasn't it? useless trivia you probably know....Carlena was Don Manchas girlfriend. And wasn't Bobby and Wallace Swamp Dogg?

it has had spins over the years Russ. Certainly knew it from way back, I've got it on a tape somewhere. Andy Rix/Rob Thomas had the acetate, it was a scenesville spin for Andy. The acetate could have headed to Nottingham, know Mick H spins it but not sure if acetate or issue???? Know several djs who have had a bash with it over the years but as good as it is it justnever seems to appeal to the floor for some reason. I actually prefer the released version without the horns etc...

  12. I uploaded this other week after Baz Atkinson asked about it. Sure someone said it was released on another label first????
  13. Chalky replied to a post in a topic in Record Wants
or is it the one with horns thats unreleased bugger got me thinking now, supposed I better look for them
  14. Chalky replied to a post in a topic in Record Wants
there's a version with no horns, not sure if it's been released though, officially anyway? I've got it on a cd somewhere.
  15. Think these are the 100 Club on one of the few times I took a camera out in the 80's. Would be 87 or 88 at a guess. above Barbara Kingan, Little Jimmy & John Kingan. Cliff Steele (who doesn't look any different now ) to the right. Pablo to the left. I've got some old flyers from 80's somewhere and some echoes adds. Also got 100 Club from October '87 (I think) on tape.
  16. Chalky replied to a post in a topic in Look At Your Box
everything pointing to same label. Do you know the flip Mel?
  17. I'll have to dig minbe out but it ain't my origianl one so not got a clue. Had several and at least one cause the police made 100 Club take out a new membership if I remember rightly around '88.
  18. Chalky replied to a post in a topic in Record Sales
