I would love to see more Artists record in the 60's / 70's Style of Soul Music. Following the success of Motown, Stax, and all of those lovely 60's / 70's Labels, It is Amazing that it's taken Amy Winehouse & Co to try to re-create that wonderful style & sound we love to hear. Suprised that more American Artists are not following a Similar path. All the Artists on Standing In The Shadows of Motown did a fine job Vocally. The Funk Brothers, perfection as Always & Surely the best Inspiration there is. Anything happening regarding this project. >>> LINK <<<- Fab Jades On Rika

Hi Tony Yes, all is well thanks. At work we have Local radio chart stuff blasting out, over and over. Same songs repeated from a Playlist, hour in, hour out, again and again. It's just nice to hear something closer to my kind of music.- Duffy
I've gotta agree Del, Hope she continues in the same style. I wonder if there will be an Album similar to Back To Black, following the success that the Album has had for Amy Winehouse. For the Future, it would be good to hear some of these Artists get back to the Roots of Soul, and record some gutsy, gritty raw stuff. There are many fantastic records to cover.- The O Jays
Thanks Steve. Should have played the Album before today, had it in Storage for years along with the others.- Four Brothers - Sam & Kitty - I've Got Something Good
Thanks Pete, I thought that It would be. First time I've seen the West Coast DEMO.- The O Jays
Hi Steve You're right, I have just played the track for the first time since I bought it in the 70's. Canned Applause between Tracks, how strange. I bought it with hundreds of others all Unplayed at the time, hence Mint-. They have ruined what should have been a good Album.- The O Jays

I have had a good search around, I can't find anything about the Name Change. Suspect that you may be right with the Pressing Plant theory. Over the years, Various Pressing Plants/printers have Mistitled stuff, leaving us with similar questions.- The Hostage - Donna Summer
- Len Barry
- Mitch Ryder (bootleg)
Yes, I remember this one, a friend of mine bought a copy. I seem to remember It was around the time of the Soul Sounds, B.J.D. Boots.- Bobby Womack
