  1. Hi Mandy, yeah my hubby and me were watching the city gardener (green fingered he is!) we commented on the motown tracks played and Ive watched it before and it often has soulful tracks on. Also as you say No Angels (Brilliant programme) always plays soul. Makes you sit up and take a bit of notice doesnt it when its on the telly.
  2. Hi Gina, Dave doesnt know that record so unfortunately cant help sorry. Hope to see you both soon. all the best.

You talkin to me??? Cheeky boy stop or I will report you to SSource for going off thread Tee Hee. Not getting much work done today Bond, think I need to go doctors to get some pills to stop this addition to SSource. Ive always prided myself to be able to get off (OOH MADAM) wait for it, to get off anything, but this SS is gonna get me a P.45 soon! Ho Hum

Rod Keith arrived this morning mint condition. Excellent. Thanks alot Mike nice doing business with you again sir.
  10. Agree with that Janine, Im all for younger people coming into the scene but only if they truely enjoy the music and respect the whole scene. As you rightly say there seem to be too many tagging along with Mum's and Dad's that obviously dont wanna be there. That said I do love to see younger soulies with that love in their eyes gives ya a warm feeling

Im with you on this one Bond (not the flying scotsman) but seeing Edwin Starr just before he passed away. Have seen him on several occassions and never failed to disappoint, he was one of the best live acts made it look so easy & natural and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Remeber years ago when he was appearing at a club in Milton Keynes I managed to get on stage with him for a few seconds and had a sing with him! Awesome ah. Wish we'd have kidnapped him and taken him back to the chalet now. (Mental note: Must learn to trust instincts more often)
  13. Yeah more beer silly!!!!! and yes I may have already used that smiley once or twice before but I like it alot!!
  14. True true, it was my hubby this happened to. As Baz rightly said you do have to stay vigilant. Obviously in this case it is cosha, but always worth checking when money is involved especially a lot of money scammers are unfortunately always watching and after an easy buck

Hi Mike just seen your message will email you again now yes still interested.
  16. Nice one Miss I knew the school teacher would see through his feeble disguise
  17. We know Bazbond personally The picture is infact an up to date profile of Mr Bond. At soul nights & nighters he likes to undergo an ageing process and pretends to be 25 with boyish looks. Most of the soulies havent fallen for this disguise but I feel as part of the soul source family you all have a right to know. BeWARE
  18. Totally agree (having to borrow my wifes log-in wont log out) a fantastic tune. Nearly got this in the eighties for £60 English Pounds off Rob Smith as it was cracked. Didnt go back to him quick enough and Mr Fortum got there first and probably cheaper :diablo: Well done Carl The record has illuded me since but I'll get you if its the last thing I do HAHHAHAHAH.
