  6. These three pictures where taken a few miles inland from Shell island in Snowdonia. The 1st one doesn't really do the picture justice as I have climbed down onto a rocky ledge overlooking a fifteen metre drop into the raging waters. The 2nd one is pointing the camera upstream and the 3rd is taken of the view down the gorge. Steve

  12. Is it just me thinking that most of the above shouldn't be auction records. But that's the way things seem to be going .get as much as you can while you can so as you don't seem to be selling some to cheaply or to expensively. Most record dealers at nighters wouldn't get those sorts of prices. Steve
  13. What about Al Williams. I who am nothing. La Beat or Parma. Plenty of these about or in collections. Cost you a couple of grand these days. But must admit to being biased as it's my favourite all time record. Steve

  19. Not long got in from fishing a match at Tarvin sands fishery near Chester. No pictures but had the pleasure of helping weighing my mate John Hammonds catch. He has set a new fishery record beating the old one by 120LB . It now stands at a massive 281LB for a five hour match. .Jealous or what. I had a measly 25LB Steve

  25. I was down in the beautiful Shropshire village of Bishops Castle today laying some flowers at my still missed Dads grave because it was his birthday on Thursday when he would have been 82 . When I heard a noise in the large Yew tree near the grave and this is what I was lucky enough to see. A Tawny Owl. as you can see from the 1st picture the camouflage is amazing Steve
