  1. thats quite a nice choon actually. Had the EP about 3 years and probably dismiised this track after the first 20 seconds or so as maybe a bit "poppy"? But listening to to again now and LOUD......... I like it cheers Thats the way to do it JM
  2. off to have a listen to it now Richard
  3. BABS_TINO___TOO_LATE_TO_WORRY__KAPP_214019_.mp3 Give it chance, bit of a slow starter, but definately worth listening to all the way thru (or is it just me that likes it )
  4. Richard & Mace, what do you guys both think to the Babs Tino track on the flip of the EP..........."too late to worry"? I think its a great tune . I know its available cheaply as a Kapp 45, but still a nice bonus when you flip the EP .
  5. Hi Mace, the sound on the Helen Troy is crystal clear. The Anna Belle Caesar does seem a little bassy, but not having had the either U.S. release on Glad Hamp or the Carlton boot to compare it to, I dont know if its anymore bassy than it should be (if that makes sense??) I dont actually collect pic slv EPs either, it just turned out that these were both cheaper then the equivalent U.S releases when I bought them.
  6. I have a few EPs in my playbox, inc the Helen Troy & Anna Belle Ceasar and the lower sound level doesn't really cause a problem . I think most EPs have a lower output level due to the grooves being a lot finer/lighter
  7. Hi Bridget, one of my all time fave choons. Hope you manage to find one
  8. Hi Baz, long time no see, how are ya mate. I have 'take me back' too (great tune) , but 'run to..' is still my fave by him.
  9. Hi Pete, wouldn't mind hearing the Billy version if it stands up well to the Lenny version.
  10. Most likely an oldie to the rest of you, but fairly new to me and blows me away everytime I hear it. Bought it for the other side originally 'Coronet Blue' LENNY_WELCH___RUN_TO_MY_LOVIN_ARMS__LONDON_10010_.mp3 Anyone recommend any similar CHEAP choons or post up some soundfiles? cheers
  11. just sent it direct mate. catch up wiv ya tomorrow

this a great choon, been spinning this myself from '61 i think?
  13. Richard, flip it over and have a listen to the Babs Tino track "too late to worry" bit of a quirky start but give it chance, I think its great. I got mine about 3 years ago @ £130, back then I was told it should have been quite a lot more than that. No idea of current value, gotta be rarer then the U.S release hasn't it?
  14. That was worth it for the Label design alone!! VERY nice
  15. Hi Karen, I prefer the Susan Rewis too (only saying that cos I can't find a Becky Sharp ). Picked the up W/D on Columbia cheaply, but it was about 4/5 years ago. Rodge Martin is a cheapie, i think. Only played his version out a couple of times a long long time ago.
  16. PMSL the road to redemption steers a long and winding course, with many twists and turns. Who knows how long it will take us to reach the end. How long are you prepared to wait for us?
  17. TWICE (jusy for Andy ) !!!

  20. Hi Frank, the whole Latin thing is fairly new to me. Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the show
