Hi Richard I have a US copy and although both sides are on each side of the 45 the label side of 'Just don't pay' is blank!!!!! (£30) I also have a US double sided promo of 'I don't wanna leave you' (£20) I agree with Sean, one of the best double siders ever AND you also need the US version for the full length version of IDWLY Cheers Steve
  2. Hi Blake Not easy on UK mate, should be £30-£40 ish I've had a couple on US Flying Dutchman 45 BUT they don't hang around much!!! 'Lady Day' is one of my very favourite records of all time. I could listen to it every day for the rest of my life and still never tire of it! Good luck in your search mate Steve

  10. Anyone? Going rate paid Cheers Steve

  12. Hi Seb Has this been checked against the R&B Indies book? If not, I'm willing to do it for you............if it has, please let me know as it'll save me a job! Cheers Steve
  13. Post of the week for me Soul scene irony at its very best
  14. One of my favourite ever records too Steve Good luck with the photos etc Steve
  15. Got one now thanks :-) .........................that means I have a #1879 for sale at the current 'going rate' Cheers Steve
  16. It's also got one of the longest titles in history! Sounds like a cue for a new thread!
  17. Hi Mark Yep, it was the 'Spanish Maiden' side I played. Sounds bloody marvelous now (imho) Cheers Steve
  18. Definite bargain there Salv! I'd usually sell it at £25-£30 Hope this helps Steve

  20. Last update for this list before i let it sink into the depths of page 2 and beyond............ Loads of great records still available! All the records in Post #1 are available as of 14th June I'm still also up for trades! Cheers Steve
  21. Prices now reduced on many 45's Loads of great records still available! All the records in Post #1 are available as of 12th June I'm also up for trades! Cheers Steve by the way I'm still looking for a copy of Curtis - How can I tell her - Charm City BUT it MUST be the later release #1932 and NOT the earlier #1879 Good trades or going rate paid
  22. I picked up a 45 of this recently with the right mix on it too
  23. The list is shrinking BUT there's still loads of great records still available! All the records in Post #1 are available as of 12th June I'm also up for trades and 'may' consider lower 'reasonable' offers - I guess i can always say no! Cheers Steve by the way I'm looking for a copy of Curtis - How can I tell her - Charm City BUT it MUST be the later release #1932 and NOT the earlier #1879 Good trades or going rate paid
  24. ps As Mr M's price guide rates the two releases at the same price I'm up for a straight swap for a #1879 too
  25. I'm sure Mr Thorley will be down right gutted! I choose to use 'going rate' cos i'm fed up with folks asking for wants and not wanting to pay anything for them! If you're in the wants section imho by default, you should be willing to pay 'going rate' (if not more!) for whatever it is you're after. Oops, just realised i haven't answered yer question Come on someone must have one! Especially as a few on here have dissed it as not being as good as the original. Who's going to sell me the inferior #1932 at the 'going rate' (if not more) Cheers Steve
