Spencer Wiggins - I'm At The Breaking Point - Kent Select 45
Spencer Wiggins - I'm at the breaking point - Kent Select 45 Absolutely fantastic Crossover/Northern Soul dancer from 1969. Found in the Fame vaults in April 2010 this has got to be one of THE most significant discoveries for decades! If you buy only one 45 in 2011 make it this one! b/w Make me yours Another unreleased cut and this time it's a 'more than acceptable' version of the Bettye Swann classic! neat finger snapper AND those brilliant vocals! PLUS Willie Bollinger - I won't have to cry no more - Kent Select 45 Another winner from Kent! Sublime early 70's unreleased smooth Southern Soul swayer that has been caressing the connoisseur dance floors! Finally out on 45! b/w Willie Walker - Run around Another unreleased cut and arguably better than the top side??? Smooth as silk and as soulful as you like making this a double sider to be proud of for Kent Records! SEE HEAR AND BUY THESE MAGNIFICENT 45'S FOR £10 each from www.soulmusic.co.uk PLUS SOULMUSIC.CO.UK - SITE UPDATE Just another quick note to let you know that apart form the TWO 45's above, another batch of Northern & Modern Soul 45's have been added to the site! AT THE MOMENT WE ARE UPDATING THE SITE EVERY DAY WITH SOME RECORDS ONLY MAKING IT ONTO THE SITE FOR LITERALLY HOURS BEFORE BEING BOUGHT AND DISAPPEARING FOREVER! There are LOADS of brilliant 45's spread ALL OVER the site! PLEASE don't think that the only new 45's are on the 'Just Arrived' page? We add 45's to ALL parts of the site ALL the time and we are constantly reviewing & tweaking prices as we strive to give the BEST value for money ANYWHERE on the internet! In fact this week we have added a new page of 45's imaginatively titled 'Second Page Focus' so again, worth a look! Spend a little time on www.soulmusic.co.uk and you never know what you'll come out with! Cheers Steve

Sringfield Rifles Track
- Rare Issues You Need
Just got one of these myself recently after chasing it for many many years- Rare Issues You Need
Good call Paul! It's bloody marvellous too- Rare Issues You Need
Just thought of another............................my avatar- Sringfield Rifles Track
And a review from a different perspective Dave, here's a snippet from my latest 'Plumb's Peaches' in 'Soul Up North' about it The Springfield Rifle - That's all I really need - Burdette Finishing as always with a 60's track and this one is way out of left field! .......................................... ...............The flute intro gives way to a tick-tock rhythm that takes about 80 seconds to really get going before finishing with the hookiest hook line you'll hear this year! Yes it probably is white but there's a magical quality to this record that had me singing and humming it for the whole fortnight! I think if this was played by a few big name DJ's this could well become a Northern and/or 70's monster. Cheers Steve- Rare Issues You Need
I'm sure we've had this thread before Del Boy but doesn't do any harm mentioning it again imho I love me oddball/rare issues (I have all them 4 above for example!) and a couple i always trot out is me Tony Drake issue on Brunswick (even though the demo does have the same B side) PLUS Life issue on 'Mustard' Reprise(which has a B side unique to the issue BUT is shite unfortunately ) I've a load more and will post em when they come into me head.........oh aye just thought of another one Darrow Fletcher 'Honey can i' (B side on Atlantic issue of 'Rising cost of love' ...................Bloody great it is too Cheers Steve- Jean Plum
Hi Blake I guess you know it's my sales list don't you I know Keith has offered a US demo but if you wanna do some trades on my UK demo, gimme a shout! btw That's my old UK Demo copy as I just got a Black US Issue with 'Back to you' on the B side Cheers Steve- Sunday 30Th Jan - Solar Radio - 'a Taste Of Soul' With Steve Plumb
