  1. Looking for a cheap playable original, wish I had the scratch for windle's acetate!
  2. Crackin' classic northern dancer backed by true beat ballad heaven! VG+ condition. Some small writing on the flip thankfully ("Good Soul" it says, and I'm inclined to agree ) £45 + post from denmark (£3 within EU, £5 elsewhere) Clips for reference only: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cAMr2Weh4zQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnE6GrKUMd4
  3. It also shows up in the lyrics of the Beastie Boys song "Alright Hear This" where its definitely in reference to "da butt" as Ian puts it https://rapgenius.com/Beastie-boys-alright-hear-this-lyrics#note-776526
  4. Took me ages to figure out what the hell the lyrics were about, and I'm an American! Agree with Dave, it shouldn't be more than a fiver ever, its a king of filler discs.
  5. Goofbid has only failed me once, and it was because I hadn't looked and seen that the seller only shipped within the US. So then it was really ebay's fault for blocking my bid.
  6. RIP Bill Spoon, one of the more unique voices in soul. Thankfully he was able to see some of his classic work revived by Soul Junction. He was an immense talent.
  7. I honestly couldn't tell ya mate, I've seen the term tossed around on here a bit but never found what its actually in reference to. Maybe someone can chime in? Flip doesn't sound at all island-y to my ears.
  8. It was booted in the US for the US "island scene" supposedly, for the flipside "false pride". Another thread on it somewhere here. Boots are on vinyl as opposed to the original on styrene, sound good too! Great record.
  9. Crackin' classic northern dancer, VG+ condition. Some small writing on the flip thankfully ("Good Soul" it says, and I'm inclined to agree ) £50 + post from denmark (£3 within EU, £5 elsewhere) Clips for reference only: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cAMr2Weh4zQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnE6GrKUMd4
  10. Queen Yahna - Ain't It Time (P&P) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuFp18cJq7w
  11. Here's one that I never see mentioned, great builder of a tune and cheap as chips! Bonus that its named after my favorite cryptozoological big dude in the woods BIGFOOT - I APOLOGIZE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HneRw9Lc8w
  12. Crazy, that cruise left from my hometown! Had no clue it was going on.
  13. £50 seems a little steep... just a little, though.
  14. All killers! Recommended
  15. Very rare and seldom seen Danish Fontana release of this classic single by the Pretty Things! Unique picture sleeve. Record conservatively graded VG+, some light marks and scuffs throughout but plays extremely strong (EX or better). Center still intact. Sleeve graded VG, some yellowing / staining (see scan), seam split about half the length on left side (no tears, tape, etc) £80 plus post from Denmark.
  16. Still available, very nearest offers accepted
  17. Buyer to pay post from Denmark. Previous sales list price of £105 total, the Leonard Howard is seriously rare and up on Manships at £50 in about the same shape. 9 great tunes for a great price, no filler. Leonard Howard - I Got A Love / There's a Girl (Heres) EX++, slight storage warp NAP (RARE!) Sylvia Thomas - At Last / So Will I (Bamboo color label) - VG (plays above grade) Jimmy Delphs - Almost / Don't Sign The Papers (Karen) - EX- dh (Blue label vinyl copy) Witches & The Warlock - Behind Locked Doors / Same (Sew City WLP) EX The Jades - I'm Where Its At / Mother's Only Daughter (Ree) VG/G (boot) Harold Burrage - You Made Me So Happy / Take Me Now (M-Pac) EX Calvin Arnold - Satisfy My Woman / You'll Do it (IX Chains) EX Edwin Starr - Girls Are Getting Prettier / Its My Turn Now (Ric Tic) - EX- Eddie & Ernie - The Cat / I'm Goin' For Myself (Eastern) - VG+
  18. Some "newies" through the post box door in the last week or so. Oliver Cheatham - Don't Pop The Question https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIRn26y6ouc Cookin' On 3 Burners - This Girl https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdhU5Dv0pcI Also had a very nice, high quality carver done locally today by my mate who's been running a great service here in Copenhagen. He recently updated to a very pro Scully lathe from the 60's that does amazing work! Very pleased to have finally got a disc made with him after waiting for the setup and testing of the new lathe. 19. Top list Des!
  20. Glad you beat me to it Haydn, "Igor's Party" is the ultimate halloween tune. That YT clip sounds way ramped up in speed though. Try this one, slower n' creepier ;) Edit: My mate who turned it on to me plays it slow in the popcorn tradition, guess thats why when I heard other clips it didn't seem quite right, hah! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yUk6K7D_7I
  21. Glady will do combined deals on orders of multiple records
  22. Few items from the previous list reduced, have a look! Post from Denmark is £3 to UK/Europe, £6 elsewhere. PM to reserve or with any questions. Thanks for looking! Brian Auger & The Trinity - Black Cat / In & Out (Atco issue) EX- £25 now £20 Clean Atco issue of this ever-in-demand funky freakbeat mover, with company bag https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6dCvF3OWDQ Leonard Howard - I Got A Love / There's a Girl (Heres) EX++ £30 Very rare, under the radar midtempo barebones stroller from Leonard Howard on his private pressed Heres label. There are two versions of this record, one with both these tunes on the A side and a two-part funker on the flip, but this version bares a different mix with sax and only the ballad flip. Seems to be this mix is the rarer of the two, though I can't confirm since there's very little info on it. "Not For Sale" scribbled in pencil on A side, a noticeable edge lift warp that does not affect play in any way. Soundclip of the proper mix with horns up on Manship's. Sylvia Thomas - At Last / So Will I (Bamboo color label) - VG £18 now £15 (plays well above grade) Nice belting mid-tempo northern winner. Rarer color palms label varient. Label is a bit grubby and grade is low, hence the price. But she still plays strong, "great for DJ'ing" as they say. Jimmy Delphs - Almost / Don't Sign The Papers (Karen) - EX- dh £15 Rarer dark blue label pressing on vinyl (different than the label here, legitimate original vinyl) drill hole and one small mark NAP https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZwzNnkFDqw Witches & The Warlock - Behind Locked Doors / Same (Sew City WLP) EX £18 Now £15 Excellent girl group dancer on a cool white label promo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ida1rHpN5xM The Jades - I'm Where Its At / Mother's Only Daughter (Ree) VG/G £10 Boot alert! However, a rarer boot that sometimes fetches well above this asking price. "I'm Where Its At" has two scratches in the middle of the disc that tick for about 15 seconds, albeit not too badly on my deck. B-side that you won't want to play anyhow is knackered. Grab a deal? Harold Burrage - You Made Me So Happy / Take Me Now (M-Pac) EX+ £8 Nice little R&B edged moaner on a fantastic label. Small pen mark on "Take Me Now" side, otherwise clean as a whistle! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zt_g3V9KNCI Calvin Arnold - Satisfy My Woman / You'll Do it (IX Chains) EX £10 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHabU2oXyRI Dillinger - Cokane In My Brain (Black Swan) EX £12 now £10 Edwin Starr - Girls Are Getting Prettier / Its My Turn Now (Ric Tic) - EX- £10 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPT387JTcn8 Eddie & Ernie - The Cat / I'm Goin' For Myself (Eastern) - VG+ - £5
  23. After a VG+ or better copy, demo or issue is fine anyone?

The Toys - You Got It Baby / You've Got To Give Her Love (Musicor WLP) VG+ £25 A seemingly forgotten 1967 oldie double sider that doesn't appear to be on anyone's current sales lists. The "you got it" side is a nice midtempo girl group number while the flip is a pounding uptempo funk-edged stormer! Labels ain't too bad and the vinyl still has lots of shine. Witches & The Warlock - Behind Locked Doors / Same (Sew City WLP) EX £18 Excellent girl group dancer on a cool white label promo.
