Took me ages to figure out what the hell the lyrics were about, and I'm an American! Agree with Dave, it shouldn't be more than a fiver ever, its a king of filler discs.

RIP Bill Spoon, one of the more unique voices in soul. Thankfully he was able to see some of his classic work revived by Soul Junction. He was an immense talent.

I honestly couldn't tell ya mate, I've seen the term tossed around on here a bit but never found what its actually in reference to. Maybe someone can chime in? Flip doesn't sound at all island-y to my ears.

It was booted in the US for the US "island scene" supposedly, for the flipside "false pride". Another thread on it somewhere here. Boots are on vinyl as opposed to the original on styrene, sound good too! Great record.

Very rare and seldom seen Danish Fontana release of this classic single by the Pretty Things! Unique picture sleeve. Record conservatively graded VG+, some light marks and scuffs throughout but plays extremely strong (EX or better). Center still intact. Sleeve graded VG, some yellowing / staining (see scan), seam split about half the length on left side (no tears, tape, etc) £80 plus post from Denmark.
