Thanks for the replies, shame I'll be there too late in the month to catch a 6t's night Ady, would've been wonderful.

I left a small bag with some LPs in it on my last trip to the US on top of my friend's car in a mad late dash to catch my flight. The only real rarity in there was the Ripple Blast Singers "Funny Girl Ala Soul" LP, which would have been a tremendous loss. Got into the checkout and realized I didn't have the bag with me, and immediately rang her... Turns out she was ringing me at the same time, to say that she'd gotten onto the FREEWAY when someone waved her down to say she had something on the roof. LPs all in tact, weighted down by my 45 centers resting in the same bag! I still haven't gotten them back from her, but glad to know they're safe in her apartment in San Francisco rather than smashed all over the interstate.

I'm making my first trip over to the UK (passing through hellish Heathrow to Europe notwithstanding) since I was 5 years old towards the end of this July. I'm looking for some recommendations on good stores, good events (hopefully 100 club is going off then?), and other soul-related bits in London. Also, if anyone is looking for an American living in Denmark to guest on a night or two, I always travel with a case of tunes... Serious though, any and all recommendations greatly appreciated!
