  1. Hi, this was a fairly big record in the Twisted Wheel around 1968 (I was there). I actualy own the origonal UK Cameo Parkway disc that was used there (bought from Brian Philips if my memory serves me well) it has evidence of it being covered up at the time and prbably cost me a whopping £4 back in the day.
  2. Buy it now records on eBay or Discogs are generally on there for ages before they may sell. Most people seem to think they'll be on there for ever with no rush to buy then when they do sell the messages come 'did you sell that' or 'I really wanted that let know if the buyer backs out'. At least on auction they sell sometimes at a price that pleases me and at other times I'm disappointed. They're often bought by dealers that are happy to sit on them for a while. The person that pays the highest finishing price doesn't really set the value bench mark as the record could just be currently in demand. Most big dealers will frequent the big nights with their sales boxes and keep an ear and eye on the dancefloor to asses reactions to a play that gets them up which then will see that record be in instant high demand. Its personal choice but in recent years genuine UK 60s demos have soared in value as they're safe bets to keep their value irrespective of whether or not a reissue has come out.
  3. All shelving and units etc becomes a pain if you come to recarpet or decorate. Personally I prefer lockable flight cases made by good companies like Swann or 5 star cases. Beware of some brands that have hinges riveted into the board rather than having rivets into the aluminium edge extrusion as it should be.
  4. Any method that uses some necessary heat will damage the grooves, if a record plays well even if it is warped leave it alone. A warp is probably caused by releasing from its stamper to soon rather than it happening from poor storage.
  5. Hi, would like little To. My if you still have it. 07780756714
  6. They were definately boots primarily concentrating on the top sounds of Manchesters Twisted Wheel club. 30 in total which were released gradually so that you could afford to buy them all. I bought them all arriving through the post probably 3 at a time if i remember correctly. I had many on the UK origonals but it was nice to have the set, Leon Haywoods Baby Reconsder had no Uk release untill quite late in the day for the Twisted Wheel fratenity (i was one) and has remained an incredibally rare record on import,
