⭐🌟⭐🌟⭐ WELL IT'S BEEN DECIDED!!! AS THE PREVIOUS 6O'S NIGHTS HAVE GONE DOWN SO WELL WITH ALL OUR REGULARS AT THE HAROLD, WE'RE DOING ANOTHER ONE THIS MONTH! THE DJ'S WILL BE SPINNING PLENTY OF THOSE OLD SOUL MOD STOMPERS FROM WAY BACK WHEN!! 🌟⭐🌟⭐🌟 The Harold's got it all - a warm welcome & fab, friendly atmosphere; great sound system with request-friendly DJs - if they've got it with them, they'll play it for you! There's a top-notch dance floor with absolutely no need at all for talc; bar prices at WMC rates; large car park & good transport links. It's situated on the main road, with easy access from Chain Bar Roundabout, regular busses from Bradford, Brighouse, Leeds & Huddersfield & it's also close to Low Moor train station. I've just watched Threads again - I'd forgotten just how harrowing it was to watch too. Definitely a must watch but as you say, for all the wrong reasons.

Here's a sample of the bar prices at The Harold (correct at the time of posting):- Tetley's/John Smith's....... 3.70 Carling/Coors........ 4.00 Fosters....... 3.90 San Miguel...... 4.20 Guinness........ 4.30 Cider....... 3.60 Not bad eh? 🍺 🍷 🍻 NB - THIS LIST WAS QUOTED PRIOR TO THE BUDGET, SO MIGHT BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. THE HAROLD BAR PRICES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY GOOD THEREFORE ANY PRICE INCREASES WILL HAVE BEEN KEPT TO THE BAREST POSSIBLE MINIMUM.

Hi all - Kath here with a bit of feedback from last night at The Harold Club. By the time we officially opened the doors at 8pm, we had around 20 people in, so it was already shaping up to be a good night. In the end we didn't have quite so many as on our first few events at The Harold due to other events nearby, but still a decent turn out with a great atmosphere. All the feedback was good & absolutely everyone said they'd had a really good night. The DJs played a good range of tunes - big thanks to Soul Brew DJs Marc, Stuart & Steve - plus our guest DJ Lawrence Grimshaw - for keeping the dance floor busy. Well done guys! Thanks to all those who turned out to support us - as always you are all very much appreciated! Thanks too to Chris Jenkinson, who took lots of photos of the night. Now we're looking forward to our next event at The Harold on Friday 15th November, when our guest DJ will be Steve Sowerbuttts & the tunes will be banging oldies & stompers all the way! Hope you can make it to join us.

Did anyone watch "Till" on BBC2 on Sunday night? It's based on a true story exposing racism in 1950s Mississippi, when a 14 year old boy was murdered for paying a compliment to a white woman. Very sad story & well worth watching.

Hi all - Kath here with a bit of feedback from last night at The Harold Club. It was bloody FAB - we had around 20 people in before we'd even opened the doors, so we knew we were in for a busy night!! The atmosphere was great from the get-go & it was really good to see so many of the old regular faces back at The Harold. Thanks & well-done to Soul Brew Djs Marc, Steve, Stuart & Carl, plus guest Dj Chris Wormald - you nailed it guys! That dance floor was busy all night. 👍 👍 Thanks too to both Marc Wilby & Tanya Wormald for taking pics of the night. I've found a few bits of nice feedback today, so here goes: - "Harold club soul night great night lovely see some old friends." "lovely to see this soul club back on the map and have a chance to catch up with some old friends we can’t wait to come back" "All having a great time dancing to the music " "a great crowd at The Harold" "we had a fab night .. was lovely to see everyone x" "A most delightful night!" PS - Chris - the Harold Club steward - is so pleased with how things are going with Soul Brew that he was really keen to book us in for next year! So.......we are now in the Harold diary for every 3rd Friday right up until Boxing Night 2025!
