Just been browsing through some old albums & stumbled on these & thought they'd make a nice Christmas pressie for somebody. The Northern Soul Story volume 1 The Northern Soul Story volume 2 The Northern Soul Story volume 3 The Northern Soul Story volume 8 The Northern Soul Story volume 9 The Northern Soul Story volume 12 The Northern Soul Story volume 13 The Modern Soul Story volume 2 The Modern Soul Story volume 3 All the above are double vinyl albums on Soul Supply & were pressed in the mid 80s & are now long deleted & regularly fetch about £25 each on e bay. Gonna kick the Soulful House thread off with a couple of 1 hour downloads on me. Kinda works better that way. 1st one was put together by David Hulmes. 2nd one was me copying some classic stuff from vinyl last night & before anyone says anything i know i can't mix. You're a collector who occasionally dj's though Neil. Probably put my foot in it here as i am too Kind of leads to another topic here. Someone asks you to play a track you don't like & before you all say you don't own any tracks you don't like lets say it's a b side of a track you do like & it's in your play box. Do you play it?

Probably right about the so called major dj's Chris but i'm pretty sure they would all class themselves as collectors too if asked. We all have stuff in our play boxes that we don't play at home but there's the stuff we all collect simply because we love it. How many of the tracks in your dj box do you listen to at home? If you're like me not many i bet.

That should upset all the site's veggies mate Think most dj's would consider themselves collectors as well with 1 noteable exeption but he's had enough stick on here today...
