  1. Good 70's always goes down a treat, this one from the Essex 1V is no exception. The Mecca Highland Room buzzed to records like this one.
  2. This one from Tony Matthews always went down well at the old Lowton Civic, here's hoping it's still as popular at the new Culcheth Village Club
  3. A great record Dave and rare, I love it.
  4. Well done Baz, this will be a top night for a top bloke. I'll never forget the journey to The Embankment club, Wellingborough with Karl and Robbo it was like having Cheech & Chong in the car. What a laugh. Karl gave me this record just before I went to dj in the DDA room,I tried to pay him but he wouldn't take any money for it. He was one of the best and sadly missed. Here's the record
  5. Have you tried Roger Banks. He had one on bids last week.
  6. Both Phil & Alex have this one as well the greedy b*st*rds. lol
  7. The Debonaires "Please come back baby" Wonderful record. I love it. Nice one Phil.
  8. Yes he did ha ha, and If I'm not mistaken Dave was at Chris Kings studio a few days beforehand when Chris played him the acetate he'd found.
  9. Lowton Civic Hall, as were celebrating one of the best North West soul nights of all time, I'll never forget the night (New Years Eve if I'm not mistaken) Chris King played The Mayfield Singers inst for the very first time to a packed dancefloor, we had no idea there was an even better vocal to follow.
  10. After making it's debut last month at Culcheth courtesy of Baz Maleedy, The Marvellos ~ It's your love that I need is now more readily available to us mere mortals and raring to go.
  11. I'm sure Kev or Baz will know who compiled them, I'll hazard a guess Dave Holt had something to do with them
  12. Here's 4 of the Lowton anniversary CD's from 2003 to 2006
  13. Here's a brilliant record fit for any special occasion. Definitely one for this anniversary
  14. Hi Jordan Here's a couple of anniversary items that I kept from back in the day, both are well worn,in fact I'm amazed I still have them, one was for the 5th anniversary and the other one was The Usual Suspects T for the 7th anniversary. The 3rd T shirt is the mega rare St Helen's Rugby Club, Saints Anniversary T. That venue definitely deserves a revival special. I can't put my hands on the complimentary CD's & vinyl at the moment.
