I'd buy a copy of the same tune but by Jimmy James & the Vagabonds. Far better and at a fraction of the Turley Richards price.

Here's the scan of the Pete Terrace italian 45. For some reason the letters have not been clearly scanned but they are silver.

I don't find the Tony Manero version that similar to Bobby Valentin. The production is very poor and the singing is just not good. I think it's a bit of a tailor-made just to fill demand for this tune. I've seen them playing on stage and they're pretty boring.

I'll try to sort a scan of the italian single label as soon as possible. Yes it's only DM Boogaloo on the other side but I much prefer singles than EPs, they play louder. The other european release with similar sleeve design is from Germany, Somerset label and has "At the Party" and "No! no! no!" back to back. Very nice indeed.

Most beutiful release of "I'm gonna make it it" is the italian single on Bluebell. Lovely and quite elusive.

227$ for this 45 is ridiculous. It's always been a 20$ record and not rare at all.

Just curiosity. Is this tune going big? I bought it blind many years ago and felt pretty disapointed when I heard it for the first time. I still find it pretty boring. Anyway I collect most of the stuff on Federal, King, etc... so it's a filler for the collection.

I've got a Chirrup and it's a quite good R&B dance tune but I've never heard a Tarpon one (more common release as far as I know).

Nice price for these two considering copies on Ebay go for 350$ +
