  5. I had an innersection in my box for about 3 years at £10 and could not sell it,sold it resently for over £500. Why records become more expensive and why they loose value is not only to do with rarity but popularity, eg more people want it,! I guess this applies to Towanna as well. SHEEP Why not advertise on ebay or somewhere else, preferably not here.! SHEEP
  6. I have a near cash offer, which I will probably take, would trade, but not interested in ones suggested. SHEEP
  7. Nev Wherry was well know for collecting british, had to be on Demo only, had everthing worth having I believe. Correct,a lot of white items he did aquire, but a lot of white items were played then. When he and his girlfriend passed on his record collection was sold on behalf of his family by John Manship. 9. Someone on this site must know where alan day is living and what he is doing.? On the uk issue front, generally accepted than Jimmy Thomas, Carl Douglas uk issues are harder to find, not sure if this can be said of rufus lumley, can anyone confirm this to be the case.? SHEEP
  10. I think this came out in 66 / 67 and is quite rare, unlikely to have been played when first released, if it was in demand stateside would have pressed more to meet the demand, which there was'nt at the time. More like to have been 70 / 71, when some soulie would have found it on a market stall, then probably sold to Alan Day as an obscure item. SHEEP
  11. You think I am Alan Day, not sure how you arrived at this conclusion, he was probably playing rufus lumley at the Torch before i was born.! Would like to know how you compare rufus lumley to records around today, such as Meadow, you don't no the pain, which has similarities.? or maybe Pat+ Blenders, Just because, which has little similarity. SHEEP
  12. I've heard of the Torch of course, not familiar with Alan Day, where does he come from and where is he now. there is a car dealer on the north circular called Alan Day cars, sells mercedes, its not him is it.? SHEEP

  19. Thats a bit of an assumption, I could be really an interesting person, at least my comments are based on observation, i.e. I have seen and heard JO Wallace DJ, and I consider her to be loud, she basically shouts, now you may say this is natural enthusiasm and I would have to agree. Wheres my ear muffs. SHEEP
