So that's why you were after prices, silly me thought you were selling??
  7. Totally agree with you there Pete. However there are a few of these smart fellows around, including my dear friend Fran O'Brien. (Not a bad looker for a pensioner?)

I sold a Johnny Gilliam (issue) a couple of years ago for £120 so I would guestamate?? around £150 to £200 but then again I could be well off the mark? And then again as I keep harping on that any record is worth what someone is prepared to pay at the time.
  9. So did I acky went for £200 ish so my £150 snipe was in vain. Don't come up for sale too often. Always liked this one since Tim Brown started playing it 10 plus years ago.
  10. But you are a Claret supporter so you are excused this time.
  11. I would think that this is a poor attempt to counterfeit then. The original is stamped and there should also be a stamped "R"
  12. Ik001 posted a post in a topic in Look At Your Box
Yes like I told him. Nothing like the original. Awful record I hate it. LOL.
  13. No reference in Manships book to a SKUM no. only a SK4M-6588 stamped one. Are you sure the U is not a scratched 4?
  14. Both boots then I'm afraid.
  15. Ik001 posted a post in a topic in Look At Your Box
The boot is nothing like the original I can assure you. Yours is legit.
  16. If the matrix is scratched it's a counterfeit if it is stamped an original. According to Manship's guide that is.
  17. Yes I think I was the stupid person who sold it to you.

One here but too pricey for me. https://www.discogs.com/sell/release/1224786?ev=rb
  19. Ik001 posted a post in a topic in All About the SOUL
That's the one. I see you sold a copy?

Don't Know if anyone can help here, but about 5-years ago Ginger Taylor was playing out a female take on "Nowhere To Run. Not I might add an exact take but very similar style. He told me or a friend of mine that it was a B-side to a female reggae single. Needless to say it didn't take off as far as I am aware. Just wondered if this was a legitimate record or one cut/carved for purpose?? Any information would be appreciated. Many thanks, In Anticipation, Ian
  21. Along with this one I hope??
  22. Hi Grant Yes first heard this one on the Searling radio show 10 plus years ago by Nancy Yahiro from the US Took me years to find one but they turn up on evilbay now and again. I like it because its different. Ian
  23. How about a resurrection of this underplayed instrumental, very hard to find these days.
  24. C.L. & The Pictures : Baby Not Now : Monument. (an unusual one but never heard it played out, maybe not a dancer). David Huff : Mary Brown : MGM. (A nice floater?, A Levine discovery I think?)
