    Vinyl is king because in my experience a Cd can f**k up and that's it you cant recover it a laptop with all your downloads ie 30 gb of pure soul can crash and not be recovered , Ipods can die too ( There was a TV prog on it ??) Analogue sound is cool to these ears ..Vinyl Deejays and collectors keep it alive please.

Curtis Anderson, Brown Bag release was actually given away to a few deejays of the time (late 1988 if I remember rightly) The record dealers were from Middlesborough , I received my free copy at Southport .However the hundreds that they had expected never turned up . As for the label damage that Manship describes, I've never seen that on a copy of this record ever.

    Just a thought , Their must be dozens of records in Modern Northern collections that are waiting to be reactivated because Butch and Keb ( as I remember ) were preoccupied with 6T's when these records were being played , perhaps some old deejays should come out of retirement .Hey Robin ?   20. Yeah as I remember a lot of records being spun from event to event. New releases and obscurities from a competitive deejay line up. Really would like to see a list perhaps Sam is the best man to list it ??
