  2. Do you remember which UK Lp it was? So I can go straight to it at the weekend. Cheers matey. I'm still gonna check for it being on a UK 45 at home, time and chores allowing.
  3. I'm sure I've got a vocal of this on English? Might be on an Lp perhaps? Not sure? Off the top of my head, I would have said an English 45, but in view of the comments here, I'm not so sure now? I'll check in my collection when I get home at the weekend. It's bugging me know!!!

  6. Thanks Mike, job well done. And I believe Sunday wemt well too.
  7. I was thinking more along the lines of the label design for the 'Sunday' recording of "Ain't Got No Problems", which also got released on Chess.

Criss Cross must be the local label as it also came out on Dot. Wonder if it's exactly the same version? Plus, I've also seen a slightly different label design for this Little Luther number on Criss Cross, written in cursive.
  12. Are you asking me if I want or have a copy for sale of "Young Blood"? Either way, the answer is no. Just after a copy of "Cold Blood" by the Coasters on UK London. Anybody got a copy for sale?

Brill record at a bargain price!!! And before you start, I don't know the seller from Adam. Just think it's a crackin' R&B track that needs to go to a good home. I'd have it in a heartbeat, except I've already got it . . . . I mean, any serious collector of R&B should want it in his collection. Problem might be that not many people have actually heard it before. Seller: Put up a sound file.
  14. Anybody???

  20. The label design shown on Manship's site, is that the only label design? Or is there more than one Alteen recording company?

  22. I'm sure there has been a thread on here some years go about where the title Exus Trek originated. So, somebody with better skills than me for searching / tracking back through old, perhaps archived threads, could root it out for us all? Not that I didn't appreciate the research conducted and put forward by rigilbert.
  23. Errr . . . . yes, I now see what you meant now. Anyhow, I agree with you when you say that Exus Trek is one of THE all time great instrumentals and is the fist one I'd pick out of my box to dispell the notion forwarded by some that instrumentals have no 'Soul'. This one oozes Northern Soul. Right . . . back to my R&B records.
  24. I agree Pete. Besides, if you want to listen to the vocal, just flip it over.
  25. For me, there were quite a few but the following stood / stand out just that bit taller (excluding Matchy, as he's a short arse ); Frank Jackson - RIP Pete Lawson - RIP Matchy Smokey Booper Widdy
