  7. The label design shown on Manship's site, is that the only label design? Or is there more than one Alteen recording company?

  9. I'm sure there has been a thread on here some years go about where the title Exus Trek originated. So, somebody with better skills than me for searching / tracking back through old, perhaps archived threads, could root it out for us all? Not that I didn't appreciate the research conducted and put forward by rigilbert.
  10. Errr . . . . yes, I now see what you meant now. Anyhow, I agree with you when you say that Exus Trek is one of THE all time great instrumentals and is the fist one I'd pick out of my box to dispell the notion forwarded by some that instrumentals have no 'Soul'. This one oozes Northern Soul. Right . . . back to my R&B records.
  11. I agree Pete. Besides, if you want to listen to the vocal, just flip it over.
  12. For me, there were quite a few but the following stood / stand out just that bit taller (excluding Matchy, as he's a short arse ); Frank Jackson - RIP Pete Lawson - RIP Matchy Smokey Booper Widdy
  13. I only heard it for the first time when Neil played it, having only just returned to the scene after a long spell off. Must add it to my collection of UK releases. What sort of value does it have?
  14. The venues he attends would all go bankrupt as bar takings would plummet.
  15. Pete, Got a sound file of Emma Rede. Sure Neil Henderson used to play it the Hideaway years ago. Thanks. Denbo.
  16. Hey Mike. You coming to the Sink Reunion on Saturday 16th?
  17. I see. Thanks Pete.
  18. How is that done? Can anybody do it? Can't imagine they could, otherwise we'd all be "pinning" our posts so they stay at the top. Or am I still misunderstanding the terminology?
  19. I had two copies of the record Mike but just the one spare, which now belongs to Dani.
  20. Which Kitty White are we talking about? Also, does this guy actually want a copy of Cleopatra? Or, has he found himself a copy?
  21. What does "Pinned" mean on the subject heading of this thread?
  22. That's quite a lot of "gaps" Tez.
  23. I've sent him a PM but had no reply. Odd?
  24. Wasn't the Prelude label born out of a similar set of circumstances but in Philly?
  25. Why's that Longy? Who is it?
