Elmore James - Madison Blues
Thanks very much. That was a perfect reply. Very happy to see it released on a UK label Lp as I like collecting English label releases when I can / when they're available. Thanks again.

Elmore James - Madison Blues
I've just been listening to the vocal of this tune online, I think from the 'Whose Muddy Shoes' Lp / CD, which I understand was released in 1969. I first heard it many years ago and have only just remembered to look into this recording in more detail. A little bit of research has revealed that it was also released as an instrumental, in April 1960 on Chess Lp CH 1537. Can anybody confirm the above, perhaps with further information to back it up? Does anybody have a soundbyte of the instrumental? Also, does anybody know if the tune came out as a 45, instrumental or vocal? All comments would be most welcome.

- Seller Insists On Insuring For $400
Hi Pete, Did you look into my comment, repeated below; Funny, I was asking this question on the phone to the Post Office just a week or two ago and I seem to remember the official telling me that there is no customs charge on used / second hand items, or if the package is marked gift. Even if it is a gift, or used or second hand, it still has value so can therefore be insured. You'd best double check first though. Pretty sure I'm correct. Came out on an English label Lp too, around 1971. Not a lot of people know that.- Soulspinner Update
Happy to see you back from Canada. Must meet up during the week for an Indian. Denbo.- Us London & Decca Distributed Labels
Bloody hell Pete, I see what you mean. I can also see what pikeys-dog meant about saving a fortune in costs. Seems like they have a base label design then just print over that for any label under their control. Nice one.
