Very true northern soul is dance based and should not be an excuse to play some crap record that they like because it's rare.

Wasn't going to post again but had to after hearing someone talk some sense and cut through this snobbery that if it had won would have left a weekend in cleethorpes as the high life of the year instead of the choice on offer now which are too numerous to mention and are down to the Wigan originals and newer converts so disliked on here.you should be ashamed the northern soul scene we love would have died.

Anyway my last post I'll concentrate on going to alldayers fantastic weekenders drinking dancing and meeting great people from all over.

Great to see northern soul snobbery is alive and well. I suppose your a 4 times world champion.

We all love northern and it covers a wide range of sounds. Boring if we agreed on everything .more people than ever turning up something must be right. Dying away my arse.

Get real and grow up the revolution is over and people just want to hear music they love.
