The 'original vinyl only' policy is an ass! 'Legal' or 'Legitimate' vinyl only I can live with. Anyone likely to get hung for playing Ivory's 'Please Stay' on Wand (for example)? Sean

Hi Nick, John had it covered up as "The Anderson Brothers" ... while I was playing it as The Brothers Guiding Light. Remember him getting quite cross with me for announcing it as the correct artist. Sean

That's spot on Neil, I reckon. All the four prongers have the dotted lettering. This was clearly a 'done elsewhere' job - and back then they couldn't just email a jpeg to create or recreate the artwork!

I don't know this, Simon. Any good? So "Are You Together" is the funk side? Is "Waiting For Your Love" a Deepie collected by the Japanese? Some info here:- https://www.fryer-mantis.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=14016 Sean

Blackpool Mecca
Think you've summed it up in the first sentence. The Mecca did get through a whole bunch of new releases mid 70's. Many of them didn't 'stick' at the time and these were often picked up later with a more consolidated approach to promotion. "My Kind Of Girl" was a huge Clifton Hall spin, yes, but I don't recall it getting played at the Mecca. Then again... Sean
