pat thomas came out in sept 64 according to the verve discography and baby washington 12/63 and it made 92 on the hot 100 in march 64. its a great song and i like every version i`ve heard but spyder turners version from jan 67 is the best imho....incidentally the uk sue copy is credited to baby washington dave

and the cd has got to be heard to be believed,,first track is heavy metal...does contain another great track in hot buttered soul tho dave

and if that wasnt enough some bugger uploaded that clip to you tube and put the cd on top of a 12 to make it look like it wo on vinyl it wasnt me ...........some big boys came in and made me do it dave

????? wot u mean billy,there are issues and demo of both grapevine & grapevine 2000..demo`s are more desirable. do u mean are they proper uk issues and ok to play out type o thing

thats right ian and thats what i was gettin at in my earlier post. wake up came out on uk rca in 1977 and lovin is really was the follow up to it in the usa and was probably penciled in for uk release and then shelved.the uk miracle copy is from 79

bit off topic i know but mungo jerry hits from 1970 were all 33rpm 3 track ep`s also family strange band was a big selling 45rpm 3 track ep but its a safe bet to say that if sc 120 existed it would have been a regular 45rpm 2 track single............. i`ll get me coat

ive cetainly known it for 20 years ...it was always quite cheap on lists and probably didnt sell well at that time..never quite understood this type sound myself but it wouldnt do for us all to like the same,, certainly keepin the want at the top of the page dave

sold mine for £400 coz i thought it would never go higher than that...there were copies kickin around at one time
