From Atlanta To Birmingham (Various Artists) Lp
Nooooooooooooooooo, you're kidding...too repetitive...much prefer the 45 mix! Maybe we should start a vote on this one?! I'll give you a shout if I find one this weekend, Chris, but it is defo getting harder to track down over here! Last one I sold was £75 I think...which I think is a fair price.

Joanie Sommers
Suprised you don't have one already...the 100 Club used to be awash with them when Ady used to play it there. Never made that group connection...thanks for that.

Dynamic Corvettes Mega Tune
I sold a stone mint one a week or so ago...since which time I seem to be playing it daily on my iphone. Hmmm...maybe I should've kept it after it!? Are there any demos?

Unissued? Unknown Artist?
Here's another acetate outta Texas...Prince Charles aka Charles Sheffield again? If you like Jazzy Soul / swinging R'n'B, then I suspect you're gonna like this...quite a bit!?! Unknown Artist - Days Are Numbered -

Is The Us Cleaned Out ?
I'm sure we'll get up to allsorts when he does get here in a couple of months He went to Vietnam on his last trip, but didn't find anything to write home about One thing is for sure, I find quality discs EVERY weekend in Japan (check out my sales pages!), but then again I've been here 6 years and know where to go, who to talk to and sellers contact me when they have something decent to offload

I just had a flick through...questionable statements indeed on some of the titles

Nolan Chance- Just Like The Weather
Hi Chris, Agree that it was later than Constellation and there are genuine Bunky copies...but to clarify there is also defo a blue labelled Bunky bootleg as featured in JM's book. Hope you're well, squire, Flynny
-
The Tempests
Fabulous sleevenote though I say it myself
-
Nolan Chance- Just Like The Weather
The orange speckled Bunky and the yellow Constellation scans have gotta be false...the font for the title/artist is incorrect on both! There was a plain blue labelled Bunky bootleg back in the 70s...scan in Manships book The original Bunky is sparse looking and came after the Constellation release...an expensive/rare 'reissue'..kinda like the Ivorys on Wand

Big Bo & The Arrows And The Four M's
This one also came out on Atco...and the best James Marsh track is missing from the Gay-Shel listing within this thread!
-
Big Bo & The Arrows And The Four M's
The James Marsh titles on the same label (albeit these are yellow) are also powerhouse crunching Texas thumpers!

Jm Casino Patch Auction
Though fairly rare surely...I wonder how many were made...2,000 max? You could probably write off a fair few hundred that were destroyed on bags, jackets and disguarded over the years? Then the surviving ones are usually cherished as keepsakes by those (of us), who attended the actual night and would be reluctant to sell? As for demand..no idea but.they make great items to display, look at, and smile...though I must admit all of mine are in a bag in a cupboard surrounded by records! An old piece of cloth yes, but a nice bit of historic cloth never the less. Good luck with selling chaps

Tammi Terrell
Stunning...essential viewing for everyone on here. Learnt a lot from that...about Tammi, Motown and life. Thanks so much for the link.

Unissued? Unknown Artist?
Yea, you're right...my karaoke skills have improved no end...I should get back into the studio

Biggest Price Drop?
That rumour is incorrect. Barry James found them...bought a copy or two from the contact...offered to pay handsomely for further copies...bloke gets back in touch with an unopened box of x200 or so!

Dig Deeper Documentary
Fabulous, just fabulous. More power to Richard, Michael and crew. If I go for the $1000 sponsorship option will I be flown in from Tokyo...Michael?! I sincerely hope the movie comes to fruition...especially if the quality is as good as the trailer!

Unissued? Unknown Artist?
Whilst we're on a roll, how about this track...once again no artist credited...defo a New York recording...BIG production beat ballad: Unknown Artist - New Experience -
-
The Charades Okeh Double Header-Hear Them
In my experience the stock copy is actually rarer than the WD. Good price...someone should be happy to take it.
-
Eddie Holman - Where I'm Not Wanted
Butch played the instrumental cut of this when he was last in Japan...sounded chuffing excellent...and yes it was on an original Virtue acetate that was shot, but played luverly! Are there any soundclips around of the instrumental?

Wand Demo's
Yes, I've had both East and West Coast proper label demos on that number...one of his best tracks ever!
-
Unissued? Unknown Artist?
Good work chaps...I think we've got our man in Prince Charles, though the Jetstream 45 seems to be a (slightly) different take with Prince possibly holding back his throaty grittyness? Does your record skip at 06:57 or is that how it is...different to the acetate. I always assumed it was the same singer both sides, but on playing them again it could be two different guys...any Roy Head experts out there wanna put us out of our misery?
-
Wand Demo's
If it is a Wand release that does not also appear as a proper labelled demo, then there is a chance it is a demo copy...stamped by the radio station, the plugger or the sales rep etc. Which disc are you actually on about?
