  1. Then you must have known Pete & Keith Hussey ? They all used to go down to the Portsmouth Marina too, an all-nighter. I lived in Walton-on-Thames for a bit and yes the Atta did have a pointy roof, well done !! The floor of the Atta used to bend if too many people came on to it and started moonstomping There was one bloke (I'll think you'll find his name on this thread somewhere) from Addletsone who, for a southerner had quite a tasty collection in 1970 Can't remember his name, Steve something meethinks.
  2. Never made the Wooden Bridge but did do the Plaza at Guildford circa '69 boy did they ever play some great soul music as a young a 16 year old lad growing up (still disputed:lol: ) it really sorted me out as a music lover Even older the Woking Atalanta reckon about 1968-ish

I know exactly where I was when that re-issued, I heard it on the radio and hummed for about 3 weeks solid Very impressed with Darrell Banks on London, reckon the scan alone must be worth a grand !!! I'll be in touch, thanks again everybody.

  23. I'm looking for some info and label scans for UK issued singles. I'm writing a magazine article and I'm looking for label scans of 1st UK issues and then the later 69/70s re-issues. For example - Duets - Every beat of my heart on Stateside then the President re-issue, The Spellbinders on CBS then on Direction, Doris Troy on Cameo Parkway, re-issue on Toast, those 1st issue Motown and later 68/70 re-issues. I'll give full credits to those used. Either post them on this thread or send to : Soulcharger@hotmail.com Also if you know the original and re-issue dates that would be great. Thanks Chris L
