  5. Tony, I ran the Microsoft Upgrade Advisor, it said I'd have to make a clean installation of Windows 7. I've found a "How To" guide it's not that dissimilar to installing XP. It's good site, well worth scouring if you are looking for a PC/software solution. https://pcsupport.about.com/ This specifically for Windows 7 installation : https://pcsupport.about.com/od/operatingsystems/ss/windows-7-clean-install-part-1.htm I'll report back the results
  6. Yet more for sale.............

  13. Makes you wonder where these fit into the picture ? The original release was 1966, this says 1974 & 1983, could it be that the 1974 re-issue is the gold one ?
  14. They do look different don't they ? Mine has scratched matrix, I also have a Jackie Wilson somewhere I'll take a look at it. Mine 45cellar's
  15. This must now count as a Wildlife photo, the amazing Voyager 1. Launched in 1977 and still going strong, is now some 19 billion kilometres from Earth and entered interstellar space, the 1st man-made object to ever do so, now that's wild !
  16. When I was there they had both stores, Cherokee & Hampton. My very first trip was quite a success, pulled quite a lot out of there, used to go upstairs into that room where all the "specials" were kept, can't remember the owners name, was it something like Gwen ? Halcyon days I used to work for Emerson Electric who's headquarters were in Florissant, they went bonkers when I told them I'd spent 3 days in Cherokee and forbade me to go back again. Which of course I obeyed
  17. Doubt it, they couldn't have gotten into Cherokee, St Louis without an armed escort.

Many in circulation are boots, in reality it's quite hard to find an original. The re-issue on Thunderbird is quite rare and used to go for about £70 - 90 not any more though.
  19. I think I had that once, I do have the Cooperettes still, labels are on the wrong way round.
  20. I have to assume they are legitimate unless someone here tells me otherwise. When going through a basement of record shop in the US I was finding these in clear plastic bags, sealed. I know they re-issued the Cooperettes, anything else ? ps : Shop was The Record Exchange in Cherokee, St. Louis, body armour optional but advisory..............
  21. None of them sold, he's got a "buy now" Garland Green at £120.00 - you wonder if paying the listing fees is really worth it !
  22. A patient person can pick up a mint for around £100-120.00 for sure, I've paid less.
  23. What you also should know is that not all original copies have their matrix number stamped, the majority are scratched in. If you look patiently you should be able to pick up an original for about £35 - 45. Good luck.
  24. Looking for an Italian Spellbinders - Help me......................
