I thought the same sound of soul 101..no stronger love. I was told the sound of soul 217671 was the local release then the girls were added for the cameo parkway distributed sound of soul 50024,if this were the case and the cameo dist were intended for a wider/larger distribution why have i only seen demos? Help,girls,no girls,demos,different numbers then a different label getting abit confusing! NOBODY KNOWS

Styrene records that are cued up by backwinding tend to create a hiss for the first few seconds of the intro,i believe an accurate description should be given when selling any record. $650 for a ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssilky! would of been a result tommy!!,i was told about the hiss,you werent tommy,at least you got a reply from the seller,i withdrew the £275 (it had a hiss) from my bank as my offer was accepted (aswell!!) and the seller desperatly needed the cash that day...just a reply to my pm's would of been the decent thing to do.The record has now been sold,thats life,end of the soul source silky saga!

Got to say the only timewaster is you ..dont put tunes up for sale if you dont want to sell them,fair enough if you change your mind and dont want to sell,no probs but have the decency to let the buyer know.Just put silky h back in your box keep it and enjoy it. cheers nick

Ive always prefered the mix without the girls,ive got the cameo parkway sound of soul with the girls and the free angela lp without the girls,was talking to kit (scottish) at middleton,hes just bought a golden triangle issue and saw the same issue on pete frenchs site, described as just as hard as sound of soul label,just got me thinking which was first label etc. Thanks for the help everybody.Any more info on 'sweet sugar dickie wonder' be great nick
